Husband did ok on roulette one evening and had good drink service, he played for hours and walked away even, as well as pretty tipsie! Roxy's diner has a good hamsteak graveyard special for 6.99. Our room was a select room on 22nd floor with a great view of the tower and jumper's. The cleaning lady on our floor was hilarious always laughing and friendly! There is a budget rent a car on site for convenience as well. we had no problems checking in or out. We have stayed in many hotels in vegas on strip, off strip, as well as downtown. Do your research and look at maps online to see what is best for your expectations! The strat worked out great I was only disappointed because top of the world was closed for lunch for remodeling, and the two shows we wanted to see were blacked out for the holiday! We visit Vegas 3 x a year so we will return to stratosphere again! only other downer we had a room with a adjoining door, we could hear the dude in the next room talking, coughing, snoring, peeing ect! We traveled with family to get there for my wedding from another side of the country. We booked the rooms and prepaid them already. We arrived a little earlier than the check in time. But... Read more receptionist was kind of rude by saying to my parents ' let me see if i have room for you' this got my parents really mad. As we had already paid for the room. even if the rooms were not ready, you should have something better to say than this. Anyway, we checked in and paid a little more than a better room on upper level. I forgot what it called. But according to my family, the upgraded room was no big different than regular , other than the big bathtub in the bathroom. Talking about the bathtub, it was stinky. You could easily spotted some black marks , some stinks on the sides. Gosh so gross. Then I phoned to help desk asked for a upright steamer for my wedding dress. They said they didn't have it.
