TripAdvisor Traveller Rating:
A lovely hotel with plenty of attractions. I was attending the Amazon Web Services conference in the adjoining Sand Convention Center (accessible via the casino area). The rooms are so big, there... Read more are two TVs! (I think there's another in the bathroom, too.) The lounge part of the room has a couch, chairs, dining table and work desk -- enough seating to fit 9 people! The bathroom has both a bath and a real shower. Good in-room wifi. Very comfortable bed. It took a while to find the remote control for the blinds (hint: it's on the wall between the bed and lounge areas). Bottom line: Great rooms in a great venue. Read less

This was our first trip to Las Vegas and I selected the Venetian as it appeared to be a beautiful spot to stay and it did not disappoint. I found the gambling to be fun (I did win which made it... I have always wanted to stay at The Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, so this time I did and loved it. Rates were pretty high when I stayed - my stay was over the Veteran's Day weekend/ holiday so I... Read more figured prices were high because of the holiday. We stayed in the Bella Suite, which included 2 queen beds, a spacious bathroom with plentiful amenities, and a "sunken" living room with great views of the city. A couple of drawbacks: no refrigerators in the room (even at the high price we paid) and no coffee machine, meaning you HAVE to either order room service (outrageous fees) or walk down and stand in line at the coffee barista on the first floor - that's what we did. Still, it seemed a little greedy not to provide guests with a coffee maker in the room - does the Venetian really need the extra money from room service coffee? And, the WiFi was TERRIBLE! We called and complained but no improvement followed. Our taxi driver told us Las Vegas hotels are notorious for lousy WiFi because they want the customers out of the room and in the casino! Made me laugh! Maybe true! Service was excellent. I can't think of one employee who wasn't extremely polite and professional. All amenities were lovely - high thread count sheets, warm yet light down comforter, HD TVs in the living room, bedroom and bathroom. The room was cleaned promptly and thoroughly. If you choose the Venetian, try and request a room at a high floor - we stayed on floor 25, which gave us lovely views of the city. I'll stay at this hotel again but hopefully when rates are bit more affordable! Read less
My sister & I visited Las Vegas November 16th through to November 19th & we stayed at the Venetian. This hotel is beautiful & the rooms which are suites are huge & very comfortable, I can honestly... Read more say this is probably the best hotel I have stayed at thus far. Check in was quick & accommodating. We asked for a room high up & were given a room on the 31st floor with a partial view of the strip & some of the hotels on the strip as well as a mountain view, we even got to see the nightly volcano show at the Mirage from the room. it as quite nice to lay in bed & use the remote to open & close the drapes. The staff were friendly & the room was clean, we had a very good experience at the Venetian & would go back for sure! The only draw back for us was the second hand smoke in the casino but then again all the casinos in Vegas allow smoking, which is terrible for a non smoker. Read less
