TripAdvisor Traveller Rating:
As far as we are concerned, the Venetian is the best place to stay in Las Vegas. The rooms are huge and well furnished, the bathroom is also very well laid out. The size of the suite is as big as... Read more many apartments! If you check their reservation calendar you can find some very good bargains. We moved our stay and saved over $100 per night! The hotel is spread out and is a good walk from one place to another. If yourself park, you will have a long walk from your car to the front desk and another long walk to your room. Keep baggage to a minimum unless you drop the bags off at the front. The cost of the suite is a little more than some bargains in Las Vegas, but it is well worth it! Read less
My wife and I spent 3 nights there and found it really suited us We have stayed at other hotels in Vegas but what we really liked here was the fact you had plenty of shopping and restaurants... Read more without having to leave the resort and get a taxi or walk along the strip The food choice was great from cheap to expensive with a choice of Mexican Asian French American and Italian cuisine The range of shops was excellent with the prices being competitive on some items The architecture and design of the resort with the canals and buildings to replicate Venice are fantastic The staff were friendly and helpful with plenty of security on hand Our room was a suite which had a view over the pool and along the strip out to the mountains It was clean roomy and well furnished The only negatives I could say is that it had one of those fridges where you get charged if you move drinks out of the fridge and the high prices of drinks if you paid for them in the casino area We will be back Read less
Was in the Venetian Tower on the 29th floor. Beautiful, suite-style room with limited wifi coverage. Wireless routers are mounted by the desks by the windows and are in every other room as I... Read more understand it. It wasn't installed in the room I was in. I had decent coverage while sitting at the desk but it wouldn't hold the signal on my iPad when laying on the bed on the other side of the room. If you are the type that likes checking social media, watching Netflix, etc. while laying down, I would request a room that actually has the router in it. In all fairness, I would bet this is an issue in all but the very newest Vegas casinos. Wifi wasn't even a consideration in construction up until the last few years. Of the nicer properties I have visited their, I would still pick this one. Parking was a breeze. Access the rear of the property via Koval when the strip is busy. Excellent valet service. I was at a conference at the Sands so this was an ideal place to stay and was within a short walk to their conference center. Two pools with what appeared to be a newer one, perhaps constructed in conjunction with the newer and adjoining Palazzo, being the larger of the two. The smaller one was stunning, more mature vegetation, and appeared to be almost always shaded. Just my style.. Either way, the pool areas were both excellent. Had a chance to use the gym facilities which were also top notch and very well equipped. Read less
