We have stayed in many hotels in Las Vegas. Now we only stay here. In addition to the fact that all the rooms are suites (which is reason enough by itself), the property is amazing. You really... Read more wouldn't need to leave the property to have a great time (though we always do... at least to have dinner outside at Mon Ami Gabi at the Paris Casino while watching the Bellagio water show across the street and eating Fillet steaks with black pepper sauce...wow!). My wife and I just brought my youngest son and his friend to Las Vegas for his 21st birthday. We did the same for my eldest son two years ago. Both times we stayed at the Venation. Both times we all loved it. The boys especially loved Tao Beach, day and night. We ate at Tao (great food) and got into the club without waiting in line. Also, don't miss the well hidden Bouchon restaurant (same as in Napa) on the 8th floor. My wife and I got engaged at the Venation (in a gondola) as the first part of our Venice themed wedding and Honeymoon (in Venice). Loved it that time too. You cannot beat the Venetian! Read less
Have stayed at the Bellagio, Caesars Palace, The Wynn, Mandalay Bay and the Four Seasons (which is the top 4 floors of Mandalay Bay). Our favorite for what you get and location is definitely the... Read more Venetian. All the rooms are suites and are great for a couple and even a small family. The Wynn has slightly nicer rooms, but it is usually about 2-3x the cost per night, so it $ is a factor, I think the Venetian is a perfect idea for most. As far as customer service, we didnt have any problems when we stay there, but I am sure things happen from time to time like others have said. But I can tell you this happens anywhere. When we were at the Four Seasons, we had an "agent" who took care of any of our needs and they still werent perfect, so when paying $180-$300/night for a room, like the Venetian, you can not expect to have room service in 3 minutes. The place is fricken huge and will take you a while to find your room, but after a day or so, you will be fine. Unless you are paying Waldorf prices, you will never see customer service with zero mess-ups...but The Venetian seems to be the best of both worlds for us. We go to Vegas about 2-3 times a year and since last year when we tried the Venetian, we only stay there now. Read less
We started and ended our road trip here first room we were so tired could not enjoy it on first evening however when we ventured out in the morning amazing decorations staff very friendly... Read more , housekeeping not very happy with us though as wanted to clean room at 9am. We were in awe of the shopping and gondola rides watched these for a long time. Restaurants a little over priced but expected. On our return visit we had to pay a lot more for the room but equally as happy with it, ordered room service tea and coffee this cost 30$ so went downstairs for food. Had a very happy visit here.
