TripAdvisor Traveller Rating:
It's like others 5 stars hotel at Las Vegas, of course each one have different themes, but the Venetian is all gold, and extravagant, has the stores, and the spa and swimming pool that are not so... Read more cool as others hotels at the strip, but rooms are huge, king bed, bathroom is amazing with TV, bathtub, living room with another tv, there are 3 TVs at the room. Location is great, right in the middle of the strip, I made everything by foot. I booked by Priceline, so the price was very good either. It's a very good experience. Read less
We have stayed here several times before and always upgraded to a large suite. This time we chose a regular room. We were pretty happy to find that the regular room was just fine! It had two large... Read more beds in one area, with a stair down to a living area and couch/ pullout bed. Enough room to not feel cramped, and we used their table to eat some take-in meals. Our suite had a problem with water flow to the bathtub (it would take about 45 minutes to fill!) and one day at 5 PM when I tired to take a shower there was no hot water. We didn't have this problem at Venetian before, it must have just been this particular room. We didn't complain because it wasn't a huge deal to us; I am sure if we called they would have moved us to a different room but we didn't feel like repacking and moving. The Grand Lux restaurant at Venetian is very impressive. They serve people in the restaurant, they serve the room-service, and also serve the poker room meals. You can call down to order a meal, it is always ready in 20 minutes no matter what time you call, and then you can pick it up. This is cheaper than room service of course, and just slightly less convenient. (There is room service too if you want). Every meal we ordered was ready on time and was very tasty. The gym is probably the best hotel gym in vegas, as we have been in most hotels on the strip. Pack your gym bag, the gym will inspire you. If you are into rock climbing they have a great big impressive wall you can use. They have a Canyon Ranch cafe attached to the gym, but I was a little disappointed at the fare. It would be nice to leave the gym and be able to pick up.... Maybe a breakfast sandwich? An apple/orange or fruit salad? Pick out a muffin? All they had were fruit smoothies, some weird "ancient grains" bowls which seemed more like lunch fare, and they had one choice of small muffins behind the counter which seemed like an afterthought. I think they could improve upon the offerings at this cafe. The Venetian is a great location, pretty central on the strip. We like walking in the hotel and the attached shopping plaza area. Watch the gondola rides or take one! There is a food court in the shopping area on the 2nd floor if you are looking for cheaper/ more casual food for a quick lunch maybe. Our maid service was excellent each day. So good that I have it mention it. We will probably be back! Read less
Located towards the middle of the strip, The Venetian is in close to everything and has TONS of great restaurants and shopping. Between Venetian and Palazzo, we rarely had to leave the resort if we... Read more were tired from walking and touring the strip all day, we could go back to our room for a nap and get up and go out for dinner at the resort and not feel limited in any way. Super convenient and all the restaurants awesome, many celebrity chef. The decoration/atmosphere was the best of any of the big strip resorts and rooms were lovely (and HUGE) Read less
I have reviewed this before and to be fair, since I had no intention of coming back to Las Vegas, I took the great experience as a special treat not to be repeated. However, with a few day spare in... Read more the US, where do I find myself, yep, back at the Venetian! Last time I didn't have a room with a view as I was travelling in a party and therefore wouldn't have time to spend in my room. This time, with a bit of work to do, I got a room in the Venetian Tower with a view over the pool. My mate (who was staying in the hotel next door) came to my room and couldn't take his eyes of the view, stunning, just stunning. I was in a refurbished room, which I have to say was no different in quality to the last room I had. The suites are very well appointed and since I had a bit for work to do on my computer one afternoon, were comfortable for work, play and relaxing. My only complaint wasn't do with the room, its to do with the casino floor. Hey folks, its the 21st Century, smokers either need their own areas or us non-smoker do. The war between the two is over, we need clean air! It is clear now that I will be back in this wonderful property, just not losing as much money was I would do if I could breathe Read less
