TripAdvisor Traveller Rating:
We have been to Vegas numerous times. Have stayed at MGM, Monte Carlo, Paris, Caesars, Treasure Island, Trump, and Red Rock. None of these places are even close to the level of Wynn. The personnel... Read more , rooms, and restaurants are as good as they come. The buffet there is amazing too. Everything and I mean everything is so CLEAN. Will only stay at Wynn or Encore from now on. Read less
First off, we got a great deal on the Wynn website, nice surprise. As we had not stayed there, we were not sure what to expect. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were Wow'd by the... Read more service. The rooms were comfy and spacious, the food was fabulous and every staff member we encountered had a great attitude. For us, the service is always so important. You can have the nicest room etc. but if the staff are not genuine, friendly and helpful, it ruins it! Also, the physical beauty of the hotel is incredible and of course, the shopping is to die for! Great entertainment in the bars too! Read less
We had a lovely romantic long weekend together. The hotel is clearly a premium hotel. The rooms are luxurious. The workout facility is amazing. The casino is very nice. I wish it had been warmer... This was our first time in Vegas and staying at the Wynn really made our trip! Upon check-in we upgraded from the 21st floor to the 56th for $30 additional p/night. This was totally worth it as the... Read more view from the 56th floor onto the Strip was jaw-dropping, especially at night. The room was amazing - everything felt very new and large, with luxurious furniture, plus remote control everything including the curtains felt like a novelty. Minibar and laundry service were very expensive. Tip: Only use the minibar fridge to refrigerate your own stuff if you are willing to pay the $25 personal use charge this incurs (!!). Great restaurants - our favourites were Wazuzu and Allegro. Tip: many fine dining restaurants have a dress code - no shorts allowed! Bars and casino experience were the best. Great cocktails and Blackjack dealers went out of their way to help us beginners! We visited a lot of the other famous casinos, eg. Palazzo, Venetian and Caesar's Palace which all looked tired and cheap by comparison. We come from London, but the nightclubs here were in a different league. XS and Surrender were half open-air, both overlooking pools with dazzling light-show features. DJs were excellent, although we preferred XS as they played more hip-hop/rap/charts than electronic. We went to XS on a Monday and it was absolutely rammed until 4am! Tip: Wednesday night is "locals' night" at Surrender, which meant it was expensive to get into ($80 for the two of us). The DJs focus on electronic music and seem reluctant to play more than 10 seconds of any song without mixing in the next. Service throughout, whether it was bellboys, waiters, dealers, information clerks, etc. was top class. Room service at 3.30am with wine was excellent, both food quality and courteous service.
