Have been to Vegas nearly 20 times and stayed at many hotels but this is the first time at the Wynn. I can't wait to stay there again next year. Up side: - even basic room is 5 star - large rooms... Read more , bathrooms, amazing views of the strip, and all lights, temperature, and blinds controlled by a touch panel. - lots of friendly security around - great buffet (only went for breakfast, worth the $25) - great restaurants, cafes for breakfast and lunch - rooms are quiet even though our room ended up being an adjoining room and close to the elevators. - great service from everyone and maid service does a great job Downsides: - a little far to walk to most of the strip but can easily walk to Caesars, the Link, etc. in about 30-40 min. - slight mishap with bill at checkout with minibar charges on bill and I'm still waiting for them to correct it. - $30 optional daily resort charge if you want to use the gym but includes Internet - $25 optional fee for 1 week of mini refrigerator in your room if you want one - floors are non smoking but still smokey Read less

We were in Las Vegas for a wedding & decided to stay at the Wynn as we didn't really want a "theme" hotel. It was a very large hotel and a drag to have to walk through the casino to get anywhere, but... Read more that's normal in Vegas. Our room was very large & comfortable. We chose a golf course view but most of the view was over low lying buildings & we wished we had chosen a strip view. The bed was very large & comfortable & the bedding very nice too. Two things we didn't like.... The fact that they charged $15.99 per day for wifi, when you could just log in at other hotels & secondly, the queue for breakfast was horrendous. Our tariff included "free" breakfast but of the 6 days we were there we only had breakfast twice as the queue was so long. Breakfast was served between 8 & 11am & we tried going before 8 to get in the queue, which was more successful & Again about 10.15 when we queued for almost 40 minutes & they had started to clear food away when we eventually got in. Having said this, the food was lovely & so much choice you could fill up for the rest of the day. Read less
