I chose this hotel because I prefer a hotel with a more modern décor and I was pleased with how clean and comfortable the room was. The pool area was very nice although there is no hot tub, the... Read more "fire" tables were cozy to sit by. There is a snack bar with pre-made sandwiches etc. just next to the lobby which is very convenient if you need a snack late at night (we needed one when we checked in). The hotel is definitely close enough to walk to Disneyland, particularly if you have no kids but if you prefer a ride the ART bus stop is right out front and there is an ART ticket machine just outside the lobby door, very convenient. I really enjoyed our stay at the Red Lion and I would recommend it to anyone. Read less
Our family of four stayed at the Red Lion. As always we were greeted with the most amazing front staff I ever dealt with. We have been going to Disneyland for many many years and have stayed all over... Read more Harbor St and the surrounding areas. This was our second stay at the Red Lion and this time are we came for Halloween at Disneyland. After a very long drive we arrived very early before check out and the gentleman that helped me at the front desk had a room ready for us within a very short time. I want to applaud him (I'm sooo very sorry I didn't catch your name) and again thank you to Adela and Carly for remembering us and making us feel right at home. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet for the first time and I could not get enough of your eggs and potatoes!!! Very much worth the price for a full belly in the park. We also had a small freak out when our car lights had been left on and our car wouldn't start, the supervisor on staff that morning didn't hesitate to help us out due to legalities she couldn't jump our vehicle but came to our recuse with her cables. What a HOTEL STAFF!!!!!!! Thank you Thank you Thank you! You guys are Rockstars ;) Read less
I like bidding on hotel rooms using priceline, and I can say plenty of eggs on Priceline picks. This hotel, at best, deserves 2 stars. We arrived late to the hotel, and we were given a room in a... Read more disconnected building from the lobby. Walked to the second building and found the elevator panel with wires coming out of it. We got into the room to find razor thin pillows, so we ordered some. They were later on delivered by a security guard who knocked very heavily on the door and scarred the hell out of us. Moreover, the smell of the security guard smoke was very noticeable on the pillows (we ended up not using them). Upon checking in, we the front desk blocked $40 for "just in case there was a damage in the room," a typical Motel 6 policy that shouldn't be observed in 3.5 stars hotel. STAY AWAY...You will also pay resort fee for NO resort. $10/room...a complete scam. Read less
