My husband and I have Disneyland passes and often come down on a weeknight evening to play in the park, stay over and go the following day. We have been using the Priceline "name your price" with... Read more excellent results. We have paid between $50 and $90 for 3.5 to 4 star resorts. This time we got the Red Lion. Ok, something new! When comparing this with a couple of 3.5 star resorts that we have stayed in, our expectations were high and were not met. The staff was friendly, we ended up with 2 Queens instead of a King (hubby is 6'5" so this was not as comfortable) so that sucked. When I called down to change, they had none available and points for customer service, they comped breakfast as an apology. That part is all good. However, the room, although nice, was simply not on par with the 3.5 star hotels we have stayed in. There was NO Spa which we had really been looking forward to and the shower leaked. The room had a slightly moldy smell. The bed was comfortable and the room seemed clean, save the ladybug who we couldn't catch to let out. overall the hotel was nice, just not super nice or amazing. The staff was friendly. If I had been expecting a 2.5 or 3 star hotel, I would have been satisfied. My expectations, however, we higher. Read less

Great customer service, very punctual when we called for a crib. There was even a keurig in the room! My only complaint would be that the thick curtains didn't fully close over the sheer ones. We... Read more went outside and tested it and we could definitely see each other. Read less
