Jungala
New for 2008 is Jungala, an exotic jungle where you'll discover endangered animals, explore a village hidden deep in the jungle, plus two signature rides and more. You can experience the different layers of jungle life through a 3-storey tree habitat. Watch orangutans at rest or play from one of the treetop observation platforms or see Bengal tigers swimming in their plunge pool, through underwater windows. For a view above the treetops, take a ride on the zip line experience, Jungle Flyers or shoot above a towering waterfall. You'll be completely immersed in their world - only at Busch Gardens® Tampa Bay.
Restaurants
Crown Colony**
Enjoy a delicious meal overlooking the Serengeti Plain. Whilst eating you
will be able to view hundreds of exotic African animals including giraffes,
zebras and antelope.
The Kasbah**
The Kasbah can be found at the Timbuktu area in Busch Gardens. Domed facades
with desert scenes, palm trees, colourful fabrics and tassels with multi-coloured
lanterns hanging from the ceiling highlight the Kasbah’s interior. The
current menu of German and Italian influenced dishes has been updated to reflect
The Kasbah’s Arabian theme.
Zambia Smokehouse**
At Zambia Smokehouse, guests have a choice to make when it comes to deciding
what their taste buds are craving. The Smokehouse features succulent chicken,
ribs, slow smoked beef brisket, and a wide selection of sandwiches, salads,
side dishes and mouth watering desserts, all from the Chef's Kitchen.
