Dolphin Lagoon
The dolphin swim experience is the centrepiece of your visit. You’ll begin by receiving an introduction to these beautiful animals in a secluded cabana. Then, with one of the trainers, you’ll head down to the Dolphin Lagoon in groups of no more than eight, into the shallow turquoise waters to start your dolphin swim experience. Here, you’ll meet and play with a dolphin for 30 minutes, getting to know each other through hugs, kisses, rubdowns and, ultimately, a one-on-one swim together through the lagoon.
Ray Lagoon
Come and learn more about mysterious Southern and Cownose rays in the Ray Lagoon, as they glide beneath your fingers, with some growing up to 4 feet in diameter!
Coral Reef
The colourful Coral Reef provides an ideal setting to snorkel amongst thousands of tropical fish and even come close to sharks and barracuda! (Safely housed behind glass partitions!). Take as much time as you like to explore the sunken shipwreck, stunning coral and marine life.
Free Flight Aviary
Just beyond a spectacular waterfall, you'll find a series of towering Free-Flight Aviaries. Here, you can soak in all of the sights and sounds as you encounter hundreds of tropical birds nose-to-beak while they feed right out of your hand.
Tropical River
Discover what lies ahead along the deep blues and lush greens of this Tropical River. Here you'll find cascading waterfalls, a secluded lagoon, hidden grottos, and a pathway to the Free-Flight Aviary.
Laguna Grill®
Take full advantage of the all-inclusive package and dine at Laguna Grill®. This is the place to come and enjoy a leisurely continental breakfast and a sumptuous buffet lunch, come in and eat light or dive right in!
Twilight Discovery
Twilight Discovery immerses you in a twilight tropical paradise, with enchanted evening swims through colourful coral reefs featuring thousands of tropical fish and rays and your up-close shallow water interaction with a beautiful bottlenose dolphin. This all-inclusive night-time package includes dinner and cocktails. Attendance is limited to only 150 guests per evening, so be sure to book in advance!
Twilight Discovery is available Tuesday through Friday evening in the months of June, July and August.
Resort Pool
Relax in the refreshingly warm waters of this oversized freshwater pool. Whether you head deeper for a swim or take your time relaxing on one of the white sand beaches, is up to you.
Trainer for a Day
Discovery Cove is proud to offer a one-of-a-kind package for the ultimate animal lover who wants to spend more time with the dolphins. The Trainer for a Day package offers the guests all the great activities and benefits that a regular package includes along with the following activities:
- Regular 30-minute dolphin session
- Enhanced deep-water dolphin interaction with only eight guests in an entire lagoon
- Experience a new behavior known as a double-foot push where guests ride on the front of two dolphins
- Private, individual photo session with two dolphins
- Behind-the-scenes tour of dolphin back areas, animal food preparation and record review
- Spending the day with a trainer to ask questions and learn what it’s like to work with animals
- Snorkelling with thousands of tropical fish in the Coral Reef
- Wading with the rays in the Ray Lagoon
- Hand-feeding birds in the Free-Flight Aviary
- Special meet and greets with tropical birds, sloths and anteaters
