Connecting Flights
If your journey includes more than one flight and your connecting flights are on the same ticket, it may be possible for your baggage to be checked through to your final destination.
Remember to ask at which point you will first need to reclaim your baggage. For example, if you are travelling to the USA, you'll need to reclaim your baggage at your first point of entry into the USA and hand it to the Airport Transfer Agent in the baggage reclaim hall.
Don't forget that although your baggage has been checked all the way to your final destination, you may still be required to check-in again. The ground staff at each airport will be able to direct you to your next check-in area, for example, if you are travelling on to another Hawaiian island when you arrive at Honolulu Airport, you'll need to go to the inter-island terminal.
You'll be met by our Virgin Representatives when you arrive at your final destination.
Please note - different baggage allowances may apply on different airlines. Please be aware of any excess baggage charges you may incur.
