Twilight Check-In at Gatwick - A Virgin Holidays Innovation!
Start your holiday with ease! Avoid the queues by checking in for your Virgin Atlantic flight the evening before you travel.
When: Twilight check-in is open the night before departure from 3.30pm to 9pm, avoiding the peak check-in hours.
Where: Gatwick South Terminal, Zone A
Who: All passengers in your party must present themselves for twilight check-in with tickets, passports and luggage.
Normal check-in procedures: You will be asked the standard security questions and then you must leave a local contact number where you'll be staying overnight. (If you'd like to check-in additional baggage on the day of departure you will still have to join the regular queues.)
The following day all you need to remember is your passports, flight tickets, boarding cards and hand luggage. Make your way straight through passport control and present yourself at the gate 1 hour prior to the departure of your flight.
Please note that the twilight check-in service is ONLY available for Virgin Atlantic flights departing from Gatwick.
Christmas Day: Please note that Twilight check-in at Gatwick will NOT operate on Christmas Day. It will open as normal on Christmas Eve and Boxing Day and all over the New Year period.
