Before you take off...
Queuing with children is no fun. That's why our check in options are designed to take some of the stress out of travelling. Twilight check in means you can check in between noon and 9.00pm the day before your flight. In the morning, you can walk past the queues and head for departures.

The flight...
Virgin Atlantic has an unrivalled selection of in-flight entertainment with a huge range of movies, TV programmes, audio channels and Nintendo games to help your journey fly by. On most of our flights you will find the V.Tots channel (for pre-school), V.KiD (for 5 - 11's) and V.T. (for teens).
Virgin K-ID backpacks also help keep kids entertained on Virgin Atlantic flights, but for younger children, take some of their favourite toys from home that take up to several hours of play, then give them out bit by bit through the journey to prolong the novelty!
On holiday...
A really nice way of creating a childhood holiday memory is to get your kids to do a holiday diary as a mini project. It will keep them entertained and makes a nice keepsake to remember the holiday by.
If your child needs a buggy, investigate buying a cheap one locally that you can dispose of after your holiday, rather than hiring one there. (In the US, you can pick up a buggy in Walmart or Target for $10, whereas hiring one in Walt Disney World, costs you $10 a day!)
Many of our hotels offer babysitting services if you wish to enjoy an evening out, just the two of you. All of these services are managed locally and you should enquire with guest services when you arrive.
