Antigua, the Caribbean

The choice of hotels and bars showing the games in Antigua is endless! The Grand Pineapple Beach Hotel are putting together an array of activities surrounding the games - 'Happy Hour' during the games, weekly beach soccer matches, weekly lucky dips where you can win anything from a t-shirt to a snorkeling trip, and much much more. The St James Club Hotel, Beach Club and the Jolly Beach Hotel have all confirmed that they will also be showing the games, as well as tone of bars - Shamarooneys, Putters, BBR Sports Bar and even the Antigua airport bar to name a few!

Dubai

Many of our guests hotels in Dubai will be getting into the football spirit and showing the games either in sports bars, lounges or around by the pool. Many will be putting on special menus or snacks and some, such as the Hyatt Regency Dubai, will be running promotions throughout the event period. Some of the hotels showing the games include One & Only Royal Mirage, Sheraton Jumeirah Beach, Hilton Dubai Creek, Sheraton Dubai Creek, Al Hamra Fort Hotel & Beach Resort and Hilton Ras Al Khaimah.

Orlando, Florida

Catch the games at the world-renowned Planet Hollywood where it will be shown on the big screen TVs. Special packages have even been put together inclusive of breakfast/lunch, transportation, a free souvenir T shirt and refreshments for approx $50 - $60. Tickets will be available to purchase in resort from your Virgin Holidays representative.

For those wanting to escape the football, we can also offer movie tickets at AMC situated right next door, or how would you fancy a day's shopping to one of the super-sized Shopping Malls?

San Francisco

The Fifa World Cup can be seen throughout San Francisco and in most of the sports bars in the city. Some of those ideally situated for Virgin Holidays guests include Knuckles, Irish Sports Lounge and the International Sports Bar, all of which are close to Fisherman's Wharf.

Jamaica, the Caribbean

Various holidays throughout Jamaica will be showing the World Cup: Beaches Sandy Bay will be one of them, putting on snacks and beverages during the matches, Beaches Boscobel will also be showing football, along with Sandals Montego Bay, Sandals Grand Ochi Rios Beach and Villa Resort and Couples Negril.

New York, USA

Brendans Bar and Grill (adjacent to Comfort Inn Manhattan) in midtown on the West side will be showing all World Cup matches on five large screens with FREE admission. The Manchester Pub and restaurant, located in Midtown on the East side have also confirmed they will be showing all Fifa World Cup matches (www.manchesterpubnyc.com), along with the Fiddlesticks Pub and restaurant (www.fiddlestickspub.com) in Greenwich Village.

Cape Town,

There is a good selection of Hotels in Cape Town where our guests can catch the games and enjoy drinks and snacks put on by the hotel staff: Arabella Sheraton Grand Hotel, The Table Bay Hotel, Winchester Mansions Hotel, Protea Hotel President and the Protea Hotel Victoria Junction.

Tobago, the Caribbean

Although details have not be confirmed, many of the hotels and bars around the Island will be showing the games.

St Lucia, the Caribbean

You will be able to catch the games in all three of the Sandals properties in St Lucia: Sandals Halcyon Beach St Lucia, Sandals Regency St Lucia Golf Resort & Spa at La Toc and the Sandals Grande St Lucian Spa & Beach Resort.

Las Vegas, USA

There are a few places where you will be able to catch the games in Vegas, with the Crown & Anchor British Pub and the McMullan's Irish Pub being those that we know of.

On arrival, see your Virgin Holidays representatives who will be able to supply schedules of the games so you can be sure not to miss out!

Barbados, the Caribbean

Although details have not yet been confirmed, guests staying at the Escape Hotel & Spa or Sandridge Beach Hotel will be able to catch the games whilst on their holidays.

Bahamas, the Caribbean

In Bahamas Nassau, the Radisson Cable Beach and Golf Resort will be showing the games in their casino, as will the the Cricket club. And in Port Lucaya, you can catch the games in the Irish bar.

Cancun, Mexico

If you decide to spend your holidays in the beautiful mexican holiday resort of Cancun, you won't have to miss out on all the action at the Moon Palace Golf and Spa Resort. They will be broadcasting the games throughout their resort so you can soak up all of the World Cup atmosphere.
