A. Car hire can be confirmed within the holiday booking process after the flights and accommodation have been confirmed, provided that car hire is available for the destination. All package holidays to Florida include car hire. If you would like to add car hire to an existing booking please call our service team on 0844 573 0088.

A. Flydrive holidays are where you can book just flights and a car, then the rest is up to you. We offer these holidays within our Florida, Caribbean, USA & Canada and Snow programs. Alternatively you can choose a Flydrive tour where you pick the flights and accommodation in your preferred area and you use your car to travel in-between the towns or cities. Flydrive tours are available in our Florida and USA & Canada programs.

A. Virgin offer two type of insurance for car hire; The Virgin fully inclusive package, and The Virgin Platinum upgrade package. Please refer to the insurance page of the Flydrive section within the Florida, USA & Canada and Snow programs for the exact level of cover for each destination.

Q. What is the Express Car Pick up offer?Q. What is the Express Car Pick up offer?

A. In Florida Dollar offer Express car pick up which allows the details of the drivers to be entered on-line before the holiday so that time is saved on arrival when the car is picked up. Details of how to take advantage of this offer will be within the information sent after booking a holiday.

Q. If I hire a car in a ski resort will I have to use snow chains?Q. If I hire a car in a ski resort will I have to use snow chains?

A. If snow chains are required for where you are staying you will be supplied (at a charge) and they can be fitted for you. More details can be found here.

Q. I have booked a car, will I receive driving directions?Q. I have booked a car, will I receive driving directions?

A. If you have booked your car hire with Virgin Holidays you will receive driving directions with your travel documents. If you have booked a car independently directions will not be sent with your travel documents and will need to be obtained independently.
