Virgin Holidays celebrated a seven award haul at the British Travel Award last night. The award win beats last year’s three wins, and saw the holiday company scoop the following categories , some ahead of other operators including Kuoni and Thomas Cook:-

  • Gold Awards – Best Weddings and Honeymoons Operator Operator, Best Tour Operator to the USA and Canada and Best Tour Operator to the Caribbean.
  • Silver awards ilver – Best T Tour Operator to Africa our Africa, Best Tour Operator to the Middle East East, Best Agency Sales Team and Best Large Tour Operator of the Year.

Amanda Wills, Managing Director, said ‘Seven awards across the categories is an excellent result for the Virgin Holidays’ team who has worked so hard over the past year to make this happen. To be recognised for the variety of our holidays both in terms of the destinations we offer worldwide and for the type of experience too, is incredibly rewarding’

The British Travel Awards took place at the Battersea Evolution in London last night, and saw over 900 attend.
