Virgin Holidays will take out the hassle of making your claim with the CAA,
and process the claim on your behalf, allowing you to still get great deals
and offers for 2009.
Am I eligible?
- If you have booked a holiday with Travel City Direct to
Florida, that is fully or partially paid on a Debit Card,
Cheque or using Cash (excluding Credit Card payments) Virgin Holidays will
be able to accept the amount already paid and use this against a future holiday.
- If you have paid with a Credit Card you will NOT be able to follow this
procedure. You will need to make the relevant claim through your Credit Card
Issuer under section 75 of the 1974 Consumer Credit Act.
When can I travel on my new Virgin Holiday?
- Your new holiday needs to be booked for travel departing after 1 January
2009. (If you wish to travel sooner you will need to make a new booking and
make any claims independently with the CAA directly.)
Where can I go and what types of holiday can I take?
- You can take any Virgin Holidays package (excluding Virgin Holidays Cruises)
that we offer to any destination, so long as it includes flights and accommodation.
The holiday must be for the same people named on the original Travel City
Direct holiday - sorry, no name changes.
How do I Book?
Go to
www.virginholidays.co.uk
and book your new holiday online, paying the initial deposit for that new
holiday as normal.
Once the booking is complete, please download and complete the following forms/information:

- In the Claim form, please ensure you complete all sections, signing sections
7 and 8.
* Please note in Section 8, you must nominate Virgin Holidays to recieve your refund against your new booking the bank details are:
- Account Name: Virgin Holidays Ltd
- Sort Code: 30-00-02
- Account No: 01444803
- The form is straightforward to complete - here is a sample form for a debit

Please also attach the following information:
- Original invoice from Travel City Direct
- Photocopy of your bank statement showing the payment to Travel City Direct.
Or if you paid by cash, the original cash receipt from Travel City Direct.*
- A note of your new online Virgin Holidays booking reference number
Please send this all to us
within 7 days of making your booking
at:
"Accounts Receivable re CAA TCD Claim, Virgin Holidays Ltd, The Galleria,
Station Road, Crawley, West Sussex, RH10 1WW ".
You can then pay any outstanding balance 8 weeks prior to departure on your new holiday.

Terms and Conditions
- Bookings that were made with Travel City Direct to Florida on a credit card
are NOT eligible for this offer.
- Only bookings made with Travel City Direct to Florida apply.
- If the value of your Virgin Holidays Package is lower than your original
Travel City Direct Holiday, we are unable to refund the difference.
- If your Travel City Direct claim is rejected or invalid, payment of any
outstanding balance will be required.
- The new booking must be made for the same named people on the original booking and no name changes are allowed
- Excludes claims from other XL Companies.
- Excludes Virgin Holidays Cruises bookings.
- Excludes Insurance Premiums (in line with CAA regulations).
