7 Secrets at Universal Orlando Resort you might not know

7 secrets at Universal Orlando Resort

Shhhhh! You can keep a secret, right? Wouldn’t want any Muggles finding out now, would we? There’s just so much to see and do at Universal, but keep an eye out for these little secrets:

1. You can call the Ministry of Magic

This one’s a good’un. It looks like any normal red phone box. But step inside, dial ‘Magic’ (62442) and you’ll be connected to the Ministry of Magic.

2. Get a guitar delivered to your hotel room

Staying at the Hard Rock Hotel®? Live like a rock ‘n’ roll superstar at Universal Orlando Resort™ — order an electric guitar and amp to be delivered to your room! Awesome. (Just don’t throw your TV out the window, ok?)

3. See if you’re the same height as Beyoncé

All the rooms at the Hard Rock Hotel® at Universal Orlando Resort™ have a full length mirror with a measuring stick showing how tall famous rock stars are.

4. There’s a hidden playlist on Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit

Sure, the song list is already pretty sweet on this ride, but there’s a hidden list of gems buried behind a little trick. Once the restraints have come down, press down on the Rockit logo for ten seconds and enter the 3-digit code for your chosen track. True Rockit fans will know the track list beforehand, so don't forget your code!

5. Go rock climbing

Wait, what? Yup — you’ve got two 50ft rock-climbing walls located inside Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. You know… if you fancy it.

6. Homage to the Beetlejuice Graveyard Revue

The new Fast & Furious – Supercharged™ ride sits on the site where Beetlejuice Graveyard Revue once stood. But in the queue there’s a small Beetlejuice figurine. Can you spot it?

HINT: It’s on a shelf.

7. Spot Adam Kubert’s first name

In Marvel Super Hero Island®, you can see some super huge facades of your comic book favourites. Look closely at each one, and you’ll see the artist's name creatively hidden in each.

As if Universal Orlando Resort™ wasn't awesome enough already? Check out our Universal holidays, and you could be hunting down these secrets for yourself!

How would you like to talk to us?

Important information: We are working hard to help all of our customers, particularly those already on holiday or due to travel in the next 72 hours.

Stay tuned for the latest updates

Rest assured; we will notify you as soon as we know if your holiday has been affected.

We are currently contacting all customers whose holidays have been affected to discuss their options. This means we’re only able to accept calls and messages from those due to travel in the next 72 hours.

Please look out for emails from us or visit our dedicated Covid-19 (Coronavirus) page for the latest updates.

Let’s talk

Payment flexibility

Don’t worry if you’ve missed a payment or just need a little more time to pay; we have options available to help you.

You can continue to pay for your holiday in Manage my booking, even if travelling in less than 12 weeks.

If you’re struggling to pay, you can delay any additional payments by choosing a new time to travel. If your holiday is more than 6 months away, you may wish to set up a Direct Debit to spread the cost. This can be arranged whilst rebooking or afterwards in Manage my booking.

We're flexible with your holiday plans

We understand that you may wish to change your holiday plans and we appreciate the need for flexibility.

We'll be in touch by email letting you know how to register to change your holiday plans. You can also log into Manage my booking to find the details there.

Please look out for emails from us or visit our dedicated Covid-19 (Coronavirus) page for the latest updates.

You're good to go

Currently, your holiday will be going ahead as planned.

Rest assured; we will notify you as soon as we know if your holiday has been affected by travel restrictions or cancellations.

Please look out for emails from us or visit our dedicated Covid-19 (Coronavirus) page for the latest updates.

Thank you for your patience and understanding

We’re sorry to say that it’s taking much longer than usual to process your refund. It’s taking longer than we’d like as well. This is due to the number of requests being sent to us and our teams working from home.

We’re doing our best to help every customer, but we’re not able to always meet the 15, 45 or 90-day timeframes we originally stated for every customer. As always, we’re grateful for everyone’s patience and understanding. It means the world to us.

We'll be in touch soon

We’re keen to help you rearrange your holiday plans and our team are currently working through requests in order of departure. We’re helping those customers in June at the moment so please bear with us, someone will call you back.
