Welcome to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. You’re part of the Resistance now, traveller. You’ve answered the call and found yourself on the remote planet of Batuu. Your mission is only just beginning…

Get to know Batuu

After a hyperspace jump of 9 hours, you’ll land in Batuu and find yourself in Black Spire Outpost. The planet has a temperate climate, but the hive of activity buzzing about the market and docking bays can make it feel a little warmer. Most species find it enjoyable, but you can find shade under the canopies, or in the shadows of the towering petrified trees that give Black Spire its name.

There’s a diverse population here, so be prepared to hear a variety of languages. However, even though Basic is the primary language around the outpost, many signs will be written in Aurebesh. You’ll need to use your Star Wars: Datapad (located in the Play Disney Parks app*) to translate and decode what you can. It could help you out in your mission.

Stock up on supplies

Black Spire caters to all travellers with its ‘farm to table’ style foods. You’ll find wholesome sustenance at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo, and you can grab a bite on the go if you’ve got Stormtroopers on your tail at Ronto Roasters (you can even place your order in advance—also through the Play Disney Parks app*—if your crew is getting ready for take off).  

 

Speaking of crew, you’ll need an astromech to assist you on your mission. Droid Depot has everything you need to build your own R2 or BB unit.  You can also join a select cohort at the secretive Savi’s Workshop and build yourself an elegant weapon for a more civilised age.

An adventure far, far away

We didn’t send you to Batuu to simply blend in with the locals and enjoy the local wares. Hondo Ohnaka is in need of a crew aboard Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. The fastest-hunk-of-junk in the galaxy is waiting for daring pilots, crack-shot gunners and savvy engineers for a successful mission. Hondo will fill your team in beforehand.

And this is top secret, recruit. Listen up. The Resistance is preparing for the ultimate uprising against the First Order. When they’re ready, you’re sure to hear the call to join them in Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Keep your wits about you and your head down while stormtroopers are on patrol. We’ve heard reports that Kylo Ren himself is out there too.

The galaxy is closer than you think…

Black Spire Outpost conceals a great many secrets, recruit. We need you to report back on the Resistance’s efforts. You’re our eyes and ears on Batuu, so use everything you have to experience it all. Even the Toydarian Toymaker might hold key information that will aid us. You never know what you’ll hear around the outpost. We’ll broadcast more intel as and when we decrypt it.

Payment flexibility


Don’t worry if you’ve missed a payment or just need a little more time to pay; we have options available to help you. 

You can continue to pay for your holiday in Manage my booking, even if travelling in less than 12 weeks. 

If you’re struggling to pay, you can delay any additional payments by choosing a new time to travel. If your holiday is more than 6 months away, you may wish to set up a Direct Debit to spread the cost. This can be arranged whilst rebooking or afterwards in Manage my booking.

We're flexible with your holiday plans


We understand that you may wish to change your holiday plans and we appreciate the need for flexibility. 

We'll be in touch by email letting you know how to register to change your holiday plans. You can also log into Manage my booking to find the details there.
