Great facility, good interaction with wildlife. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful. The evening entertainment was outstanding. There's space for improvement at the main reception. Receptionist was a tad cold and confused. Gave us wrong rates before correcting to a higher rate due to on going renovation of the wing he had offered initially.

We went to Diani again for a holiday and again Baobab was our destination! A group of 12 friends went down using the local SGR and reached our destination using a cab from Mombasa Terminus. I wanted to propose to my girlfriend and what better then a sunset by the beach and dinner next to the ocean? From our previous visit, I had made a close relationship with a few people at baobab from the F&B manager Mr. Ali to the chefs Mr. Oliver!!! I decided a month ago to propose and called Mr. Ali to convey my plans. He worked effortlessly to ensure everything goes to plan and all this was done over the phone!! I reached the hotel at 5pm where I was taken to the rooms. I had a quick shower and went to see the setup and everything was perfect! Mr. Ali had booked me into Marhaba restaurant for dinner next to the ocean and we had a very delicious meal! I took my friends and my fiancé to the location and proposed and she said YES!!! Thank you to the team at Baobab for making OUR dream come true! Read less

We were very excited to visit the place since we have never been to diani before. The place isn’t that bad but our main problem was the food.No variety and to top it all they aren’t tasty. We were welcomed with cold food at the buffet on our first lunch meal and the rest of the meals although they were hot they were just tasteless especially the grilled ones. The pools are nice I liked them and some of the staff are kind but others aren’t.For an all inclusive it’s not the place. The entertainment is very nice I give 100% for that. The rooms are cleaned late I don’t know why maybe it’s just their schedule. The drinks are tasteless as well.I wouldn’t blame the hotel as much as i blame the tours and travel company who took us there because we asked them before hand everything about the hotel and they just decided to lie.Had the most frustrating week of my life and wouldn’t be going back and will never use a company to book my holiday ever again. Some of us don’t like meeting monkeys every time we walk out and sometimes in the room and I wish that was communicated to us before we even booked. A lot of personnel, dedicated and professional. The animation team "jambo" is extremely friendly and welcoming. The food is good for an all-inclusive.
