A fantastic multi site complex on the shores of Diani beach consisting of 3 room complexes with 3 all inclusive restaurants, 2 alacarte (additional cost) restaurants, spa, gym and numerous pools. Rooms have different ratings and we had a luxury suite, which although tastefully furnished and clean, lacked several things most accommodation of the same nature has as standard (built in fridge, but empty despite it being all inclusive?) Food, service, staff and amenities where all outstanding, the only negative point (which is out of the hotels control) is that although the beach and sea are exquisite, they are predominantly out of bounds, as the second you step on the sand, you are hounded by hordes of tinkers who will not take no for an answer and intimidate you in to purchasing items at ridiculous prices which are excessively more expensive then the on site shop, for the same goods!! You simply cannot relax on the sands. We used both the spa and the hairdressers and found them to be professional, quality and exceptional value for money. Read less

Could not close the door to the bathroom. Terrible quality of bed sheets, generally the room was never cleaned properly (confirmed by one of the managers). 4 days before departure we had no hot water available for shower. The issue was known to the management, but no contact has been made on their initiative until we had complained and were moved to another room for the last night. Food: in my opinion not good. We have eaten mostly in Baobab and Maridadi sections. Meat was mostly terribly hard or undercooked including chicken. Terrible waste of food, most of it landed in the trash. Thanks for the pasta stations and pizza ! Staff and service: excellent ! Very responsive and super nice. Read less

Its hard to people willing to serve you with a wide smile on their faces. Always willing to help. I appreciated the work that Baobab team is doing with their staff. From check in, askaris, to cleaners, a special mention to Juma, who always checked on us if everything was going on well and Philip as well, To Patrick for organizing a special surprise for a birthday girl, to mention but a few. Keep it up team Baobab, I will definitely come back again. Ooh and infinity pool is to die for. Read less
