We stayed here for three nights to wind down after a hectic week enjoying wonderful Safaris. We had requested a sea view room and were lucky enough to be upgraded to a suite, which was brand new! We were the first occupants of the very beautiful room 255 with attractive decor and furnishings in the air conditioned lounge and bedroom...both with TVs and balcony. The large bathroom with bath, spacious shower and His ‘n Hers washbasins had plenty of towels and two Bathrobes. In addition there’s a smaller toilet with wash basin and a kitchen area with tea making facilities. Just be careful not to leave any doors or windows open because the monkeys will invite themselves in! The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. It’s an all inclusive hotel and any money spent in the gift shop or to purchase any water required, in addition to the bottles provided in the room, has to be put on the room bill and paid at departure...no cash transactions. The food was tasty and many dishes were freshly cooked for each individual. The pool area is clean and has a bar. My only criticism would be that smoking is allowed around the pool and in part of the restaurant. Not sure this is necessary these days when we’re used to non smoking in public places. Many of the guests were from Germany, where this rule also applies. There were daily sports activities planned in the pool and there was evening entertainment each day. The beach has it’s quota of Beach Sellers, but they only persist for a short time and are not aggressive or unpleasant. I was looking out for Mary, Joseph and the shepherds when three camels appeared on the beach one day....quite surreal when you’ve been used to Blackpool donkeys! All in all our short break was a great success and I would recommend this resort as being suitable for all age groups. Read less

All of the staff are friendly and seem to genuinely care about you and your stay. They are a credit to the hotel. Monkeys reign round the pool which I'd funny to watch but be careful of your drinks! The only downsides are the aggressive salesmen on the beach who ruin it totally and the fact that they refuse to fill customers drinks bottles with water and you have to buy it bottled. Constantly going up and asking for a cup of water can become tedious Read less

Very disappointed with our stay at this hotel. After a couple of days our clothes and the sheets were damp and there was mould on the ceiling. After complaining we were moved but unfortunately after several days there was still a slight issue with damp. Unfortunately people kept feeding the monkeys, although it is advised not to do so. Consequently they were a pest and were stealing from peoples bags in the gardens and we could not sit on our balcony in peace. We were advised about the dress code for meal times on arrival but people were wearing shorts into evening dinner. Staff done nothing about this which was not acceptable. We were on all inclusive and some nationalities abused this and their behaviour was appalling. The food was acceptable but was repetitive and became boring. Breakfast and lunch were served by the pool dining room which was a problem when it was raining because you had to run the gauntlet across the gardens. It was dangerous if you needed to use the toilet facilities at mealtimes as this was also the pool toilet and obviously the floor became very wet which is dangerous. On a positive note the staff were lovely. Unfortunately I would not go to this hotel again Read less

Our first time in this resort and have to say its a lovely hotel if you want to do nothing except eat and lie in the sun. The staff are amazing and the food is good, the entertainment guys were always on hand to keep you entertained, and there was always entertainment in the evening, which didn't last too long for those who wanted an early night. Have to say our rooms were kept really clean and the guys were amazing and couldn't do enough for you. We were disappointed there were no sunbeds on the beach but then discovered why!! You couldn't go for a walk on the beach without being pestered by the sellers, and they even walked quite a way with you to get you into their shops or to buy one of their very expensive boat trips. We found this very annoying, as all we wanted was a quiet walk to ourselves. You could not go outside the hotel for a walk in the evening as it was too dangerous. Females on their own found they couldn't go for a swim without being pestered by the large amount of male sellers on the beach. We took a tuc-tuc outside of the resort and found it very expensive and wouldn't have explored surroundings on our own as we didn't feel safe enough to do so. We definitely will not return as it wasn't our kind of holiday, but then everyone is different. Read less
