Arrived at half past two and it took almost half an hour for the staff to allocate our rooms. When finally arriving at our rooms, neither of the key cards had been programmed for access. Housekeeping staff entered the room on a number of occasions without knocking. Bathrooms are very very very small, but adequate. Upon check-out no change available, so I was not given the correct change. Reception staff just shrugged and said there is nothing they can do. Room service provided by the Spur also not good. Over cooked, cold, incorrect order. Read less

The location is not in the CBD but as you go along Sea Point Main Road past the clubs and restaurants. The reception has modern furnishings and is welcoming. My room had views of the sea but the hotel is a about a five minute walk from it over the Main Road. The room was quite big with a separate shower and separate toilet. The floors are wood panelling. The room was clean and quiet with white crisp linen. There is no in-house restaurant but there's a steakhouse next door and a bistro type restaurant across the road. There was ample guarded parking. My stay was only for one night but I enjoyed it. Read less

We stayed in room 612 - 12-14 March; our thanks to Katherine and Gideon for their understanding, hospitality, friendliness and excellent service. Good recommendations given on restaurants to eat out. Would definitely return and recommend the hotel.

Although started off a but iffy, things improved. Hotel is in a good location near to myciti busses and red hop on/off, breakfast is good with a large choice and an egg station, there are also bars and restaurants on the main street. We particularly enjoyed lying by the pool each morning looking at The Lions Head and Table Mountain - awesome! Would consider staying again on next visit as we enjoyed walking along the promenade to V&A or Bantry Bay. Always sad to leave Cape Town..... Read less
