Getting around

The Eastern Cape is the province at the eastern end of the Garden Route. The main hub and airport is Port Elizabeth but the province is most famous for its excellent private game reserves such as Kariega and Shamwari. These are between 1-2 hours drive from Port Elizabeth and are a fantastic end to a Garden Route self-drive.
