Ben, our safari guide was very knowledgeable and was determined to make sure we saw as many species as possible. We saw 4 of the big 5 (Leopard as usual was elusive) as well as Hippo, Cheetah, Crocodile, Giraffe and many other animals and birds. We stayed in the Luxury Tent which was great and the AC was a welcome addition. We booked an all inclusive rate on Booking.com and was surprised to find that drinks were included and our game drives were private (Not shared with other guests) so it really made you feel special. This is a great place to relax and be pampered for a few days. Food an drink is plentiful and varied and there were no hidden costs or upsells, in fact, apart form our mandatory conservation fee fro bringing a car, our bill was zero after 4 days of eating and drinking and 6 game drives, so our overall cost was an absolute bargain for the quality of the experience. I would definitely recommend Safari Plains for both first time Safari's and seasoned veterans. Malria free, 2 hours from Jo'Burg by car and not one Mosquito bite! Read less
