This lodge was fabulous! We highly recommend it for the "elephant experience", where you get to watch and interact with a rescued elephant herd, as well as very luxurious accommodations. The staff were always super friendly and helpful and we loved our all-knowing and fearless guide, Dean.

WOW. This property was recommended to us by Ker&Downey as we love everything about Elephants. It did not disappoint. Our expectations were exceeded in every aspect of experience and service. 5 stars plus. The elephants interaction was awesome, the best we have ever seen anywhere else. We loved meeting the Herd and hearing about their journeys. The visit to HESC(Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre)to see the work being done to ensure the continued survival of the wonderful animals is well worth the trip. Sundowners at the elephant walk past is one of the most Beautiful experiences I’ve ever seen and I will remember this for ever. Thanks Mike for your videoing skills whilst I manned the camera. Service excellence in every aspect of the lodge is delivered. The team are brilliant and tailor your every need. The food and wine service is 5 star plus. A smaller lodge offering 6 suites and a Villa for families, the suites are beautiful, all very private with personal decks and plunge pools, air conditioning, heating, lounge area, mini bar, laundry service, amazing bath overlooking the deck. So many stand out staff - Songs, our personal Butler - brilliant. Julia, Dillion, Obert, Mike, Dean, Lisa, Stefan - everyone from Office, Kitchen, House Keeping, Spa, Grounds, This is a must do experience to add to your travel plans - you won’t be disappointed. This is a high end property and as such is at the higher end of accommodation costs, however, you will not be disappointed in your investment, you will get value for money in both experiences and service. Thank you team Jabulani, we loved every minute, we will be back. Read less

Camp Jabulani was the fourth and last camp we stayed at on a family safari. We'd had an incredible trip and were wondering if this last stop was worth the extra flight, and it absolutely, 100% was. The elephant experiences here were unlike anything else we did during this trip, and were just as fun for my teenage sisters as they were for my 64 year old dad. Our guide Dean seemed to know everything about every single bird, animal, plant, insect, snake, tree, etc. -- we were so impressed by all the interesting facts he shared with us, and there was not a single question we asked that went unanswered. We were there on a few windy days, so a few of the game drives were quieter, but we didn't care at all--we got to see a number of lions, giraffes, zebras, etc. and the elephant experiences alone were incredible. The food here is also exceptional and chef Dylan is both talented and accommodating. As mentioned, this stay was at the end of a two week trip, and my sisters in particular were looking for some plain meals--Dylan made them incredible options off the menu and even offered to look up one kind of pasta dish my sister mentioned. Isaac and Songs were amazing--every time we turned around Isaac proactively had one of our drink orders, and I don't think I saw Songs without a smile the whole time we were there. Julia made sure we were taken care of during our stay, and the spa staff was also lovely. The lodge itself has a bit older style than some of the others we stayed at, but none of us cared--the rooms were beautiful, food and service were wonderful, and we had an amazing guide. Highly recommend for an unforgettable stay! Read less

Jabulani Safari was truly magical, from the minute we entered the gates of the Kapama Reserve and embarked on the first game drive to the lodge. Before even arriving at our villa, we spotted rhino, leopard, lion and giraffe, and the sightings with our excellent ranger Ruan just got better and better, from all of the Big 5 to animals I had never heard of before. The sundowners with the elephants, meeting Jabulani and Sebakwe and feeling the full power of their grandness on foot, the incredible meals on the lodge deck, under the stars in the boma around a fire and in the wine cellar, the homely and restorative downtime in our private suite, the team and their energy, the walks through the wild, the chefs going out of their way to prepare special requests like wildebeest and gemsbok tartare... it was all perfect and by far the best safari I could have hoped for. Thank you to the entire team for your laughs, lessons and detailed care! C'était incroyable! Read less
