We had the most wonderful time spending three nights at Kings Camp. The staff pampered us like we were royalty and we can't say enough about how wonderful everyone was. From our guide and tracker who courageously tracked leopards through the bush and gave helped us get the best memories from our trip to all the talented chefs that prepared the delicious meals and even brought our birthday meal onto our private balcony. The massage staff, the front office, .. well .. just everyone!! We had one of our most memorable experiences right there at the camp when a herd of elephants came to drink from the neighboring watering hole. It's hard to put into words how the Kings Camp just took our breath away. Magical and we hope to return one day. Read less

Once we landed and arrived in Kings Camp, we knew we were in for a treat. Hayley, Nicky and Patricia greeted us daily with smiles and interest. We were shown our accommodations that were luxurious and clean and hopped right into our first game drive with Cynet, our guide and Sonnyboy, our tracker. We never felt unsafe leaving our rooms, even with animals right outside. The food was consistently delicious and they were aware of dietary restrictions and went above and beyond to make sure alternate food options were just as tasty. We were always checked in on and greeted by the wait staff who knew our names from day 1! In between game drives, there was always something to do - or not if that's what we preferred - around the camp. Along with the twice daily game drives, three meals a day, and plenty of g&t's, they added special touches such as a breakfast in the bush (with a clean and unique bathroom) and a wine-tasting dinner in the boma with our guide. Additionally, they helped a member of our family with a surprise champagne stop toward the end of one of the game drives to celebrate an upcoming 25th anniversary - it was romantic and inclusive of everyone in our family group. Ready to go back tomorrow! Read less

Kings Camp exceeds expectations and pleasantly surprises you at each step of your stay. Be it the wonderful Rangers Tracey & Albert, Nicky and Haley or each and every staff member. The place is extremely tastefully done and photographs don’t do the justice to how lovely it feels. Its luxury personified and we left with beautiful memories :-))

I have traveled to a fair number of places in the world and stayed in many luxury lodges/hotels both in the United States and abroad. But, I have never experienced a place as wonderful as Kings Camp. From the property, to the staff and the Private Timbavarti Nature Reserve everything was a 10 of 10. Would recommend this destination without hesitation. Allows you to visit the wilds of Africa in a completely immersive way while somehow visiting luxurious old world hospitality. It'd be easy to call it a once in a lifetime experience except it was so wonderful i'd like it to be at least a twice in a lifetime trip. Read less
