We just left King's Camp and miss it so much,. We were upgraded to Waterbuck Private Villa( worth it if you can get it) and the attention to detail was over the top. We just left King's Camp and miss it so much,. We were upgraded to Waterbuck Private Villa( worth it if you can get it) and the attention to detail was over the top. I usually think that reviews that talk about the people, not the place are silly, however, in this case you really do spend time with your safari family. They can make or break the trip as they care for your every need as you are truly in their care. Above all, besides the out and out luxury of the towels, the bath salts, the food, the drinks, the linens, everything is 5* plus (that Patricia and Life), we felt so SAFE....(thats Neil and Sonny Boy) After all you are in the middle of the animal kingdom. There is so much attention to detail from the second you wake up, the coffee, the scones, the drive, the Bloody Mary's or Champagne at sunrise, to more hot breakfast, to lavish lunches to the " Sundowner" drive with your favorite drinks and snacks to insanely creative dinners OMG that's Garreth- we have dined all over the world, and his seasoning and comination of flavors is so unique as is his presentation of the food. If you wnat hot fragrant baths waitng for you, hot furry warm water bottles in your vehicles with soft furry blankets, and both healthy and sinful food, go here. I also have to mention that I made a point to visit the other rooms and public areas if we were to return and also for purposes of this review. They are incredible, half have been renovated, the other half are coming. They are drop dead gorgeous and there so so many bars and public areas that are so welcoming. Part of me wanted to be there as well, and meet more of the guests., which we did one night. Can't say enough about this amazing place. Definitely a MUST STAY in any of their accommodations in your price range. Read less

First time on a African Safari and I cant say enough about how well we were treated at Kings Camp. From the timely and courteous airport pick up to the last minutes at the camp the experience was beyond the highest expectations. From the personalized chef with 5 star cuisine to the little touches like heated warners and blankets for the (Winter) safari tour to the well scented warm hand wipes when arriving back to the camp. The accommodations were well presented, comfortable and super clean. We were catered at every corner with 5 star service including a hot bath already run for the wife after a long day on the range. The safari was amazing with our tracker Sonny getting off the car to track the Lions while our guide Neil took us around to meet up later once he found their location. We saw all the big 5 during our 3 day stay include a leopard kill in a tree with two leopards and a waiting hyena at the base hoping for a free meal. We pulled up to a sunset lion kill with the entire pride feasting on a kudu. The morning stop for hot coffee and the sunset happy hour while on the range was just icing on the cake! The entire experience blew away my expectations. Read less
