From the incredibly comfortable luxury room with the great view, to the truly amazing amount of leopards and other animals you see every day on your game rides, to the truly exceptional staff (from guides and trackers to the hospitality team), there is not a single thing that failed to meet our expectations. We traveled with an extended family group that included people ranging from 18 to 88 years old - and everyone had a good time here. Our guide Stu was really attentive to the needs of the older travelers in the group, and he made the visit as enjoyable for them as it was for the college students in the family. And we really saw just about everything you could possible imagine. From water buffalo and leopards to wild dogs hunting to giraffes and elephants ... to even stalking with a young leopard for roughly 90 minutes as he looked for his next meal and then made his kill (and ate it) right in front of us. Truly an incredible experience! Read less

Our guide Stuart and his tracker were very very good making every effort to show us the maximum. We met the owners during our stay and they were most unassuming and a very pleasant couple. We wish them all the best as it must be a very tough market to be in but this being a private game reserve and with the quality of their staff and vehicles etc they should do well. Would definitely recommend it. Read less

It is hard to describe how amazing our time at Leopard Hills was! Every single person we interacted with on the property was outstanding! From the moment we arrived we were warmly greeted by Kiara for a drink and then shown to our beautiful room! The game drives with Johan and Walter were incredible - the animals we saw were breathtaking: leopards, giraffes, rhinos, elephants, zebras, buffalo and so many more! Unfortunately the lions had moved off the reserve when we were there but it just leaves something to come back for! The food, drink and service were all exactly what you would expect from a resort of this caliber - it was our first safari and it far surpassed our expectations. During our time at Leopard Hills I became very sick (NOT from anything at the resort it was a cold I had before arrival that progressed to pneumonia). The kindness of the Leopard Hills staff is something I will never forget - they brought in the bush paramedic to examine me and he determined I needed to go to the hospital right away. Evert drove my husband and me to a doctor in the closest town (Hazyview, an hour away) for medical attention. When we arrived back at the property all of the staff asked how I was doing and what they could do for me, bringing meals to my room etc. I searched for a very long time before deciding to book at leopard hills and I am confident we made the right decision - I even booked 2 years out since they only have 8 rooms, I didn’t want to miss our chance! We will forever remember this experience and we hope to go back one day! Thank you thank you to Duncan, Louise, Megan, Kiara, Johan, Walter, Steve and the entire staff! Read less
