Well, she was happy to be proved wrong! The intimacy, beautifully appointed suites/chalets with hot tub, personalized, friendly and individual attention by Dallas, Michelle and the lodge and drive teams make this a stand out experience. Can’t fault anything from the instant exposure to the big 5 up close to the delicious meals set in exotic locations around the property. Say no more, you need to experience for yourself. Can’t recommend highly enough. Read less

We stayed at Sabi Sabi Little Bush Camp for three nights and had a wonderful time. The grounds of the lodge are beautiful and the staff are genuinely friendly. One of our party was unwell during our stay and the staff made every effort to make sure they were comfortable and on the mend as quickly as possible. Service over and above, especially from the wonderful Qoli! Room: The suites are wonderful, with views over the riverbed. They have everything you could want, aircon, jacuzzi, outdoor shower, electric blanket, nespresso machine. On our last day, we saw a herd of elephant from our deck! Safari: The animals seem to fall out of the trees here, especially leopard. We would often come around a corner and almost run into rhino. Because of this, we did feel that our guide/tracker were not as actively trying to find game as in our previous lodge but because it was our second lodge it wasn't a problem, we still saw wonderful animals. We didn't see the Big 5 (no lions). Our guide had a plethora of knowledge, we certainly learnt a lot from him along the way, especially about birdlife. The vehicle was comfortable and expertly driven. Food: The food at the lodge was of a superb standard, with many options for different dietary requirements. Dinners have more courses than I can count! We certainly enjoyed our stay at Sabi Sabi Little Bush Camp and will be recommending in to our friends and family. Read less

From the moment Ranger Jimmy picked us up at the Skukuza, we knew we were in for the adventure of our lives. The modified Land Cruiser pulled from the asphalt onto a sandy road, and there we were, among bright shiny birds and loads of impalas that gazed at us as they grazed alongside the road. Jimmy told us we would see a lot of impalas. He was right. Michelle, a lodge manager, met us as we pulled in and climbed out of the vehicle. Another staff member greeted us with a warm towel to wipe the dust away, and soon we were settled into our house complete with hot tub, outdoor shower and beautiful deck overseeing the bush. We met other visitors at tea, and by 3:30 p.m., we were on our first game drive. Bethuel McHonto, our ranger, and our tracker, Moses MkHabela, made sure each of us saw everything we were looking forward to. And we saw so much more. Bethuel and Moses and all the other staff made sure we had a lovely experience. We learned about all of the Big Five (elephant, rhino, leopard, lion and buffalo), and so many more, from the smallest bird to the largest elephant. Leaving Sabi Sabi Little Bush Lodge wasn't easy. What makes it easier, is know that one day, I will return! Read less

We really liked the small size of the camp, as we the groups on game trips weren’t too big. The suites were very comfortable and spacious, with electric blankets for cold nights, Nespresso machines, and an outdoor shower with a spacious deck and jacuzzi. The suites are very private, and we enjoyed relaxing there between drives. Food was incredible- compliments to chef Dick and his support team. Our server, Xholi, was very attentive and professional. The game drives were incredible, and we thoroughly enjoyed the company of our tracker, Zeb, and our ranger, Fred. Fred is one the best rangers we’ve had on our game trips- very knowledgeable about not only the game, but also about the plants and birds. He shared such interesting information with us that every game drive was enjoyable, whether we saw the big 5 or not. We would certainly return to this camp (and request Fred as our ranger!) Read less

What a memorable 4 nights at this delightful place. The staff from the management, the chefs, the housekeepers and especially the ranger and the tracker were all fantastic.
