This was our first visit to Franschhoek and sadly not quite long enough at only 2 nights. Leeu House is first class. If you like small and beautiful then this will suit you. Only 12? rooms finished to a high standard with an excellent bathroom. Staff very friendly and eager to help and please. We couldn’t fault it based on our experience.… Read more

We loved our stay at Leeu House. Wonderful greeting. Great staff. Beautiful and comfortable room. Excellent breakfast. Lesley on Reception was great at organising some trips and dinner reservations for us. Loved being in the centre of town. Would return in a heartbeat!

We stayed at the Leeu House with my family of five and another family of four as well. Overall, we had a great experience in terms of service as well as the rooms and estate itself. It was one of the best hotels that we have stayed at in recent memory. Would highly recommend to it anybody staying at Franschhooek.

After the arid scenery of Namibia, Franschhoek was a haven of green. Leeu Hotel is a little gem and we loved our two nights there. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer to enjoy this lovely part of the world. We had a beautiful room, the grounds are lovely and we enjoyed the art throughout the hotel. Breakfasts were yummy on the terrace by the pool and the staff are very attentive and provide great service. We went to the sister property of Leeu Estates and did some wine tasting there. It's a gorgeous property with beautiful grounds containing lots of sculptures among the vines. We will definitely be back as we would love to have longer to explore the area and luxuriate in the comfort of Leeu House. Read less
