My girlfriend and me stayed two nights in Park Hyatt. It was very nice - nice room and very friendly staff. Especially the pool guy Hamad was very friendly and supportive. We very much enjoyed staying at the pool and drinking the Zanzibar cocktails. Thank you very much!

We had a wonderful stay. Beautiful hotel, refreshing pool, great service, and restaurants were excellent. I also did the watercolor painting class, which was wonderful! We had a wonderful stay. Beautiful hotel, refreshing pool, great service, and restaurants were excellent. I also did the watercolor painting class, which was wonderful! Highly recommend the painting class. Several local artists helped me create a beautiful watercolor, which is a lovely momento of the trip. The food at the restaurants was excellent. Especially loved the fresh coconuts at breakfast. Rooms were large, comfortable, and elegant and ours had a gorgeous view of the ocean. The pool was the perfect thing after a sweaty walk around Stone Town. Grace, one of the managers, provided really excellent personalized service. We left our passports and my wallet in our room safe and she and her colleagues found them and ensure they were delivered to us at our next hotel. Wow -- I was so impressed! Read less

The breakfast is rich and delicious. I appreciated the breakfast bag prepared for us on days when we'd have to leave the hotel too early to catch the breakfast. There is a Friday evening Swahili dinner organized by the hotel with amazing food and live music which is absolutely a must. The terrace on the 8th floor also a great place to try out. Very much enjoyed my stay. Warmly recommended. Read less

Lovely restaurant in the gorgeously designed Park Hyatt hotel. Fabulous décor. We chose to eat inside because it was too hot outside, but there are good views of the harbour from both. Service was friendly and professional and the food excellent. I had a superb avocado and prawn salad for starter, followed by the kingfish special for main course.… Read more
Lovely restaurant in the gorgeously designed Park Hyatt hotel. Fabulous décor. We chose to eat inside because it was too hot outside, but there are good views of the harbour from both. Service was friendly and professional and the food excellent. I had a superb avocado and prawn salad for starter, followed by the kingfish special for main course. My wife had the assorted kebabs, which were very tasty. Price was high for this part of the world, but worth it for the food and the opulent décor. Wine selection by the glass was limited, but satisfactory for us. WE were on a cruise ship that stayed overnight and we ate dinner here. Why isn't the restaurant listed separately for review? We met a local who said it was by far the best restaurant in Zanzibar. Read less
