Pride of Tsavo Safari
- Tsavo West
- Ngutuni Game Sanctuary
Virgin Holidays' view
The Pride of Tsavo Safari offers you the chance to explore some of Kenya’s most magical sights as it takes you on a 4-day journey of discovery! Taking its name from the Masai word for ‘river,’ Tsavo is located at the crossing of the Uganda Railway and is home to a whole host of flora and fauna, most of which can be seen during the game drives included in this fantastic safari tour. The first day of the tour takes you on a visit to the breathtaking Mzima Springs, located in the west of Tsavo National Park, the largest national park in Kenya and one of the largest in the world. One of Tsavo’s most popular tourist attractions, the springs are sourced by a natural reservoir lying to the north of the Chyulu Hills, and are the sole water supply for the region’s resident population of hippos and crocodiles. The guided nature walks and evening game-drives give you the opportunity to spot even more wildlife! Elephants, big cats, buffalo, zebra, and giraffes are just a few of the many creatures who call the surrounding Kenyan landscapes their home.
