A perfect addition to a charming beach stay, this short 3-day safari experience offers you the chance to visit two popular wildlife sanctuaries, overnight stays in authentic lodges and the opportunity to spot shyer nocturnal animals as well as the famous 'Big Five'.
Jambo and a warm welcome to Kenya! Pick up from your Mombasa beach hotel and depart to Taita Hills (approximately 4 hours from the south coast). Lunch on arrival followed by an afternoon game-drive, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Sarova Saltlick Lodge or similar (L/D)
After breakfast depart for Ngutuni Lodge situated in the 10,000 acre Ngutuni Game Sanctuary adjoining Tsavo East (approximately 2 hours 30 minutes). Enjoy lunch followed by afternoon game-drive in Tsavo East. Later we will set out on an exciting night-drive in search of the shyer nocturnal animals like bush babies, genet cats, porcupine and even big cats. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Ngutuni Safari Lodge or similar. (B/L/D)
Early morning game-drive in the private sanctuary at Ngutuni before returning to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast the safari returns to Mombasa (approximately 3 hours). You will be dropped off at your coast hotel in the early afternoon. (B)

Occasionally we may need to substitute one or more of the lodges with that of a similar standard, also adverse weather conditions could mean a lodge or itinerary needs to be altered.
We use specially designed and strengthened, modern 4x4 safari land cruisers which have large pop-up roofs for extended wildlife viewing and photography. Safari vehicles have 7 seats, all of which are window seats, so you are guaranteed a great view.
Kenya in a vast country and hence journey times between resorts/towns can at times be long. Journey times are listed in the itinerary and are approximate.
We recommend taking soft sided holdalls as this can be transported more easily in the 4x4 vehicles.
There is a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 7 people per vehicle.
