We spent two nights in this amazing hotel with fantastic views over a large field with grassing zebras and other wildlife. The staff was very kind and welcoming, the restaurant was nice, the rooms were lovely with a terrace and great views. We would have loved to stay a little longer and will certainly come back one day!!

If you're visiting Victoria Falls, you probably will choose between Stanley&Livingstone and The Victoria Falls hotel. We stayed at S&L. Here's the deal: S&L is a pretty new hotel. The rooms are large and comfortable. In fact, if the quality of the room is your most important criterion, stop right here and book S&L hands down. The property borders a game preserve, and you're likely to see interesting animals while eating breakfast. The only problem is that S&L is 15-20 minutes away from the falls and the central business district. Transportation is easily available, but you might want to consider the Vic Falls hotel which is centrally located and withing walking distance from the falls. We had dinner at the Vic Falls. It's a classic old style hotel, and you can imagine the British upper crust there 100 years ago. My guess is that the rooms are small. Considering that we were only in Zimbabwe for two nights, next time I'd probably stay at Vic Falls Hotel but it depends on what's most important to you. Read less

What a memorable experience. The staff were attentive and made us all so welcome. Our dinner was delicious and artistic in presentation. The drinks were served with a keen attention to detail, including wines we had not tasted before. All in all, an evening to treasure. Thank you Clive and your team.

Lovely hotel super friendly happy staff (which can’t be said if some of the best hotels!). Lovely tranquil location, knowledgeable guides on the game drive and Falls tour. Currently an in-room spa service with an excellent massage
