The hotel

Immersing you in all things Cambodia, the Park Hyatt Siem Reap is not just a hotel; it’s an authentic collection of culinary showstoppers. And we’re not just referring to The Living Room’s comfort food and high teas, The Glasshouse’s deli-patisserie treats, or The Dining Room’s French-Indochine flavours, served by an ancient banyan tree. You also get unique gourmand experiences, from cookery classes and rice noodle tours to ballet and dinner soirees and 8 course degustation meals. There are non-foodie attractions too: indulgent guest rooms with rain showers; suites with private gardens or plunge pools; infinity lagoon and lap pools; beautiful spa; and a prime location, a stroll from Siem Reap’s Old French Quarter and Pub Street and 15 minutes from Angkor Archaeological Park.

Returned to Siem Reap after a decade and was pleased to stay two nights at this beautiful hotel, now under Park Hyatt. Well located on the main street near restaurants, cafes, shops and spa retreats. As soon as its main doors shut, you are transported to a calm oasis within the hotel. Staff were professional. Room was spacious with separate bath, toilet and bathtub with a daily replenish of bottled water. We took their Angkor Wat Getaway package and had a private tour to the temples - guide was great and found the best times to skip the queues :) Read less

We had a relaxing couples massage in the spa which we would highly recommend. We also loved lounging in the sun at the picturesque salt water pool, it was quite peaceful and not at all crowded. Stylish hotel with some lovely design features. Rooms are large and very comfortable with excellent facilities including coffee machine, safe, iron and ironing board, complementary water, compfy bed and large bathroom with separate bath and shower. Sound proofing good even with a room at the front of the hotel. Breakfast ok but not a patch on the Park Hyatt Saigon. Food selection more limited and staff not as organised and attentive. Good decaf coffee though. Two outside pools which provided a spot for relaxation. Was a bit of a smell of drains on occasions by the pool on the first floor unfortunately. Water brought to guests by the pool to ensure you stayed hydrated. There is a bit of an issue with mosquitoes so some areas of the hotel get treated a couple of times a week. It must work as we didn’t get bitten during our 3 night stay. Staff in the bar were very friendly and helpful. We only used it once during happy hour for a light snack which arrived promptly and was tasty - lots of it. Roasted veg baguette arrived with salad salad and fries. Reasonable price for a hotel of this sort. Excellent location in the city for tourists. Lots of shopping options on your doorstep. Concierge able to sort out reliable tuk tuk drivers too. Lots of other luxury hotels now in Siem Reap so I’d probably check those out before deciding to stay here again but overall still think the Hyatt has a lot to offer Read less

Breakfast though smaller in scale compared to some of the larger resorts was of genuine high quality and made fresh to order. No ask was too much. Beautiful relaxing experience in pool area on first floor. Delicious food. Walking distance to pub street and all the many restaurants (though go in the evening, livelier and more ambient experience ) . Very easy to get to temples with tuk tuk. Once you gain confidence, forgo the tour guide and go wander by yourself at your leisure. People said it will be hard with a baby, 16 months, how wrong were they. It couldn’t have been easier . Thank you Park Hyatt and thank you Siem Reap Read less
