Every Friday they have a wine hour from 6-7 where you get complimentary drinks and it’s a great networking experience. The managers Kalrin Chan and Eric Wong give excellent customer service and made the stay a lot easier to handle. Thank you for the great experience, Luke Pyle Read less

We checked in late for a 3 night stay before going on a cruise. Coming in the back entrance can be a bit disconcerting especially late at night. Our room was on 20th floor and our first impression was there was a strong chemical smell which was from the air conditioning. We turned this off intermittently. The room was small but all we needed, in relative good order, modern, comfortable beds with clean sheets and comfy pillows. I had read reviews about mattress stains so was afraid to look. However, I just did as we’re about to check out. There are mattress covers which are immaculate so that’s all I need to know. There are excellent toiletries, free bottled water and a brilliant shower. There are tea and coffee facilities however as a European I would have liked milk but managed to survive on black tea. We had the view of the cemetery and rather than being freaked out we liked it, it’s part of their history and looks amazing. We spoke to staff 4 times one of which was to try and have breakfast on our first morning. We were tired therefore didn’t get down until 10.15 (breakfast stops at 10.30). We were told we only had fifteen minutes and maybe we should wait for another morning. At first I was a bit peeved but actually he did us a favour. Their breakfast was $hk 185 which is £18.50 per person which is extremely steep. Downstairs our third contact with staff was asking where we could go and he was very helpful. You go out and turn right to subway go through towards a large red building and in there at the side is a small restaurant. There was no English saying the name so sorry. Anyway for £6.80 we got bacon egg sausage toast and tea. Be aware however the sausages are like frankfurters so the second day I had extra bacon instead. My hubby got croissant with egg the second day which was around £5 you get a free drink with breakfast. Definitely recommend here. Our fourth contact was asking directions. The staff were always extremely helpful and maybe the guy at the breakfast was just trying to help us avoid rushing breakfast and I suppose we are just used to people coming at last minute and still being able to sit as long as they like afterwards but he was saying we would have to leave. They supply a free phone which is in your room, we couldn’t believe this and it was so handy as we used the google maps to get us around. Apparently calls to UK and other countries are free but I was afraid to put it to the test. We used the Wi-fi in the room to call via WhatsApp on my phone and by the way the Wi-fi is excellent. Make sure you use the trams but be aware you need the right change or don’t expect change back. It’s literally 26p or 2.60 hk. We also used a bus which was also easy to navigate. The Peak tram isn’t working so we got a taxi up which was around £6, excellent value. HK is expensive but you will find areas and some shops worth buying in. Remember to use the overhead walkways otherwise you won’t get across. The Hotel is very central and it only takes minutes to walk to shops and restaurants. If I return to HK I wouldn’t hesitate in staying here again and highly recommend it. Read less

Check in was seamless and he also set up the mobile phone which is provided so we could tour Hong Kong using the maps but also ring the UK free of charge!!! This was a life saver as my dad had been taken ill and I was able to call him every day for which I can't thank the hotel enough for. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice The hotel was ideally situated as we like to walk and the room itself had a great view of the racecourse. Will without doubt go back again Read less
