easy access from HKIA terminal with good F&B choices in-house. swimming pool was quiet but no view. overall the facilities and décor a bit dated but it served functions of an airport hotel. safe choice but should add value to compensate datedness

Regal Airport Hotel provided an excellent stop over spot in between flights from Bali one day and Shanghai the next. Incredibly convenient to the airport in Hong Kong, the room was immaculate, the breakfast was great and the personnel we met were uniformly polite and helpful.

Just turn to the left and follow the signs. How convenient! I had a 7am to 5pm reservation. However, they were unable to accommodate me until 9am -the time of regular checkin. They then upgraded me to a suite which was nice. Of course, I had much more space than I needed. But it felt good to stretch out. I had a comfortable bed. The bedside reading lights were excellent and the TV had most of my favorite channels. The checkin staff was courteous and professional. I would stay here again in the future. Read less

It was the end of our two weeks self-tour to Beijing, Macau and Hong-Kong so I've booked Royal Suite in Regal for 2 nights between flights, trying to get an outstanding "Grand Finale" of our vacation. Unfortunately the Royal Suite wasn't as outstanding as we hoped. We were "Meet & Greet" upon landing and were escorted from the airport directly to the Executive Floor for fast check-in. We were offered a suite on the 12 floor (highest floor) but since I was asking for "Runway" view and the suite on the 12 floor does not facing the runway we were offered another suite on the 11th floor, this time with great view of both runways. I'm not sure whether or not both Suites (on 12 & 11 floor) are of same size, or in same standard but since view was a main factor we did not care much. Pros: Great service and great people on the Executive floor. Nice Executive Lounge, overlooking the bay (below there is a comment about the food). Unbeatable view of the Airport's runways and gate's stopes. convenient location if need to stay near the airport but still wish to travel in the island of Lantau. Free shuttle service between the Airport and City Center (Citygate) and access to Tung Chung Station and Ngong Ping Cable Car terminal. Got complimentary late check-out, which is included in the Suite rate, but based on availability. Very convenient for a late afternoon flight. Cons: "Tired" room. Shower's glass door and tap needs urgent repair. Very low illumination, in both, bedroom and bathroom. Our room (suite) had connecting door. We were bothered by loud coughing noises, coming form the connecting door. Staying in the Royal Suites allows free use of the in-room minibar but the selection is very poor. Only few cans of soft drinks and one small pack of peanuts. Some fruits are also available in the room. Food served during evening cocktail in the Executive Lounge was very spicy. When talking to the lounge staff about it, telling them that not every guest can take spicy food, they apologized and I was told that the selection changed daily and that the next day they will serve more "mild" food. Unfortunately it did not happen so I had to manage with some crackers and cheese and some desserts for both dinners. Read less
