Airline provided a room for us in this hotel due to a long layover. Our room smelled horrifically of damp, probably to do with the leak we had to walk past about 3 minutes before getting to our room. Equally we were given meal vouchers but everything was stale and there were 0 vegan options unless you paid extra. While I recognise things were free… Read more

Equally we were given meal vouchers but everything was stale and there were 0 vegan options unless you paid extra. While I recognise things were free for us from the airline I think its disgusting that you can eat meat (typically more expensive) for free but not have accessible vegan options. Wouldn't recommend. From the start a nightmare for me. Firstly traveling alone arriving in Hong Kong from a 14 hour flight. I was never advised that as one is leaving the airport one must exit thru immigration and not customs. Having no knowledge of this I had already checked out thru customs only then being told I needed to be escorted off the premises and back thru immigration. However there were no airport staff available so had to wait an hour before staff arrived. Had to complete immigration form, wait in line yet again to clear customs then walk for what seemed like miles until I found the hotel. Upon arriving the reception took at least 15 minutes to check in each guest. The queue was long, I was exhausted. No seat available so had no option than to sit on the floor. Asking for a chair I was told as I was a day use guest I could not check in til 9 am so go and wait. Contact had previously been made stating that I was arriving at 5 am and assurances were that I would be given consideration in an early admittance. This seemingly was totally ignored. By the time I accessed my room it was 9.30 and I then needed to leave at 12 to check in to catch the flight home. So all in all a complete waste of time and money. How disappointing. Maybe guests should be informed of these regulations when booking short stay rooms cheryl jasper Read less

I have visited the Regal many times, and they always makes me feel like I am at home. Thank you for the awesome service. Special thanks to Thelma and Jeni, at the lounge. Nice appetizers and drinks available.
