The hotel

As soon as you step into the marble lobby of this Forbes 5-star hotel you’ll be overwhelmed by its combination of luxury and European elegance, and East-Meets-West values. Stop by the Palm Court or Artesian bar and congratulate your excellent choice with a glass of bubbly as your bags are whisked effortlessly to your room. Follow them up and you’ll discover a spacious, elegant room, classically designed but with all the essential mod cons from complimentary WiFi and a bespoke British mini-bar, to a lovely Italian marble bathroom with separate bath and shower, as well as signature Chuan Spa amenities. They even have a rooftop wellness sanctuary Chuan Body + Soul which features stylish treatment rooms with saunas, an outdoor swimming pool and a 24-hour access split-level Health Club to retreat from the Hong Kong bustle – not to mention some delicious skinny cocktails and nutritious refreshments served by super-attentive waiters. And in case the area’s fantastic shopping district and wealth of attractions, which surrounds the hotel, including taking trips on the Star Ferry across beautiful Victoria Harbour, doesn’t tire you out – the state-of-the-art fitness centre certainly will. If that sounds too much like hard work, after all you are on holiday – why not book a massage and relax in the Jacuzzi a while, indulge in The Langham Afternoon Tea with Wedgwood experience or upgrade to have access to The Langham Club lounge where you can unwind with refreshments and nibbles served throughout the day. Dinner time presents the most difficult choice of the holiday…Will you go for authentic Cantonese cuisine at Three Michelin-Starred T’ang Court, seasonal imported steaks and fresh seafood specialties at Bostonian Seafood & Grill, International fusion at The Food Gallery or New York style treats from Main St. Deli? Decisions, decisions…!

It is a critical time for Hongkongers, not only affected by the novel infectious disease but also the social instability. After comparing numerous packages and plans, I finally seal the deal with The Langham Hong Kong. Staying for 30 hours, my overall experience with The Hotel was pleasant and unforgettable. During the two days, Yoyo, part of the club lounge team was very cheerful and welcoming. Big applause to the team, Brian, Christy, Kelly, Janny, Nicole. They have shown their professionalism and were attentive. My teapot and wine glass was never empty. I am a scone freak and the scone was one of the best in town. Rose petal jam and clotted cream are delicious as well. It wasn’t my first dining experience at Tang court but no doubt that the cuisines and services are exceptional. It is not easy to get a table therefore staycation is a great way to jump the queue, because seats were reserved for hotel guest in priority. The breakfast at Palm court hotel lobby was decent. It was crowded when we were there half hour before session ended. Waited a while before seated. The whole experience would be elevated if breakfast could be served at club lounge. I would suggest limit the made to order menu in 5 types with self-serving fruit counter. Overall, my husband and I had a very relax and recharging stay. Hope to meet the team again in the near future. I wish Yoyo and the rest of the team stay healthy and keep up the great work. Thank you, Mr and Mrs Wu Read less

We have had a wonderful staycation during the weekend. We checked in and stayed at the Club Floor, with friendly and intimate service, enjoyed happy hour with scrumptious free flow canapés. We loved the British style here!!!

I had a hot water issue with my room and the Sr Assistant Manager Carrie Yeung was so helpful. Usually hotels try to fix things and it takes ages and never works. Ms Yeung came up personally and helped me move two doors down to an equally nice room.and we had a nice chat. She sent a bottle of white wine the next day for me to try and a personal note. The staff at breakfast and the lobby bar are all personal and aware of the customers and it is really professional feeling without being overbearing. We ate in the lobby bar (great snacks the onion Bhaji's were delicious, I also had dumplings with chilli sauce that were great. I also ate in the main street Deli with friends and the food was great. Cake slices are HUGE so I passed on it but the NY cheesecake is tempting but would need 3 people to finish! Read less

Great hotel, room and location for a staycation. We stayed in June this year and had the opportunity to enjoy the hotel facilities. Staff were very friendly and we especially loved the lovely waitress in the Bostonian restaurant.
