We were only in Hong Kong for 24 hours as it was a stop over on the way home. Staff were friendly and attentive and the room was beautiful! It was our honeymoon so were provided with complimentary wine and chocolates in our room. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Hong Kong.

The swimming pool on the top floor is an oasis from the busy streets below with lounge seating in private enclaves surrounding the pool. You should treat yourself to their executive level which provides club access for breakfast, high tea, and early evening cocktails with canapes. The service level was exceptional from the cleaning staff with a night turn-down service to the doorman walking me from the hotel entrance down to the other side of the hotel taking me outside to show me exactly where to enter the MTR subway line. Special mention to Donald Hung who was so professional and thoughtful, he really made sure that our stay here was stress free. Another mention to Kammy Lau who also went over and beyond to help us with restaurant recommendations and dinner reservations. Read less

I stayed here with my sister for 6 nights. Having stayed in the Langham in Chicago last year, I was eager to experience their excellent service once again. We were in Room 511 (two twin beds) and it was not as modern as the one in Chicago, but everything was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Since we were staying for almost a week, we really appreciated the ample storage space. The bed and linens are super luxurious. Don't forget to check out the pillow menu. We both loved the lanvender pillows! The TV is thoughtfully organized by genre (news, sports, etc.) so you don't have to randomly flip through a ton of channels. We used the pool and gym a couple times. The outdoor pool is heated, so even though it is a bit chilly this time of year (17-21 degrees celsius range), it was still comfortable to swim and use the jacuzzi. They have bottled water, newspapers, magazines and even things like sunscreen and bug spray in the pool area. They really think of every detail. The gym was not busy and had a decent selection of machines and free weights, and even a boxing bag. In the changeroom area, there is a nice sauna. We also enjoyed the Wedgewood afternoon tea at Palm Court (currently 20% off for hotel guests -- there are some other discounts for guests, presumably due to the drop in tourist numbers since the protests started in 2019). The tea was beautifully presented and there is a live pianist. Service could have been a bit more attentive (sometimes it was hard to find our server), but otherwise we had a lovely experience. The concierge deserve a special shout out for their excellent assistance. From navigating the city to avoid the protests to sending our postcards and letters for us, they were always a great source of information. There were some smaller demonstrations that occurred during our stay that did not affect us. There was a large protest Jan. 19 which turned violent, but we were prepared and knew which area to avoid. The staff were very helpful at keeping us up to date on the situation and we never felt unsafe. We were a bit wary of visiting HK but are so happy we decided not to cancel our trip. This location is fantastic -- the entrance to the subway is just across the street. There are several shopping centres nearby for all price ranges and with all kinds of cuisine. We mostly went to Harbour City (5 mins. walk) for dinners as there were so many choices! It is also very easy and convenient to walk to the ferry pier and take the Star Ferry over to Central. Finally, the hotel is very close to the HK Museum of Art, which I would highly recommend. The luxury hotel competition in HK is fierce and The Langham more than holds its own. Read less
