We had to cut our stay short at the Bali Mandira which was a shame because we had the best time. We had a club cottage which was perfectly placed right near the pool and restaurant area. We had to cut our stay short at the Bali Mandira which was a shame because we had the best time. We had a club cottage which was perfectly placed right near the pool and restaurant area. We didn't use the club perks as much as we thought we would but enjoyed the pool area for most of our stay. The resort is in our favorite location of Legian and an easy walk to everything you need. They were doing regular temperature checks on all staff and guests every time you entered the resort. They took the risk of spreading the virus seriously and we felt safe and looked after from the moment we arrived. Breakfast at Azul every morning was amazing. And the staff were all wonderful, everyone we spoke to were so lovely to us and our daughter. We didn't want to leave. Read less

I can’t say enough about this resort. The staff were amazing, courteous, kind, caring, I honestly have not got enough words to describe them. I can’t say enough about this resort. The staff were amazing, courteous, kind, caring, I honestly have not got enough words to describe them. The rooms were clean and perfect (we stayed in a deluxe cottage), the outdoor shower was awesome. The grounds were immaculately looked after. Every single day we saw people cleaning and tidying it, which is a testament to their caring for our experience. The grounds were so calming, green and beautiful. Breakfast (buffet) was excellent every day. My dad is not able to walk and due to medications he doesn’t wake early enough, so my mum would make him a plate when we were finished our breakfast and they would take it with a hot coffee to him every day. Just beautiful. The food in the resort restaurants was expensive compared to the ones a few metres out of the resort, so look outside in that respect. Azul was yummy, that’s in the resort if you don’t want to leave. The pools and pool area are excellent, such a good vibe and so clean. So many options for laying about, or having a drink or watching your kids. All in all, we will definitely return. We loved it. Thank you Bali Mandira for an amazing 10 days. Read less

So we paid approximately AUD$935 for two nights in the Mandira Club Suite, which is absolutely an enormous amount of money for a hotel in Bali. The suite wasn't that big. It was miles away from the pool. And of the two days, our air conditioner did not work for 75% of the time. After check in late Monday arvo, we spent one night completely drenched in sweat trying various settings on our air con attempting to get it to work. On the Tuesday when we rang up and complained after our first sweaty night where our room was hotter than the outside temperature, a technician was sent round to fix it. When we returned hours later, it still was not fixed and the room was hot again, so we called up and got the technician sent around for a second time. Thus we went back to the pool side for a few hours whilst the maintenance attempted to fix the air conditioner again. However when we returned back to the room it was still hot. Upon calling the reception for the third time at approximately 1-2pm ish; saying that the air con is still broken and only delivering hot air, we were informed that the reception would call us in a few hours when a new room might be available. We finally called reception at 5pm after hearing nothing all afternoon and were finally able to move suites to one with a working air conditioner. And to top it off apart from a "sorry for the upset" nothing was ever offered. And when our flight was cancelled leaving wednesday morning we were charged an additional AUD$100 for staying in the room until 6pm. Read less
