The Anvaya Beach Resorts

Kuta, Bali

The hotel

A heavenly hybrid of ‘traditional Bali’ and ‘chic global modernity’, The ANVAYA Beach Resort is a little piece of paradise. It doesn’t just blend Bali and beyond though, it also seamlessly blends seaside solitude with a spot right inside cooler-than-cool Kuta. It may have the resort’s parties on its doorstep but, once you’re inside its walls, you’re cossetted by luxuries like Sankati Spa, a series of mirror-like swimming pools, a sandy beach, Balinese high teas, and a unique children’s club, where little guests can try Indonesian cookery, bike rides, and even yoga. The design details are inspired by the island, from the majestic pavilion of Kunyit Restaurant (just one of its four dining or drinking venues), which also adds on-trend touches like al fresco seating pods, to the natural and neutral tones of its classy guest rooms, suites, and villas.

Pools were excellent. The restaurants has great menus and drinks. Breakfast was the best experiences for me. Deluxe rooms got breakfast at Kunyit restaurant which was facing Kartika Plaza st., but we paid extra to try breakfast at the other restaurant too (which was facing the beach). Both restaurants offer very good quality foods and services; the beach restaurant has much more menus. Staffs were lovely and genuinely nice. I experienced lots of discriminations towards Indonesian visitors in other expensive hotels in Bali but not here. Well done. So impressive. Keep up the good work. We are so picky in terms of choosing a hotel to stay and we were so so happy staying here. Definitely will not stay anywhere else in my next holiday to Bali. Read less

This was our fourth and best hotel during our three weeks in Bali. The staff was accommodating and social, making our stay very pleasant. This was extra important for us during hard times finding flights home. (COVID-19 global outbreak) Extra plus for the beach with clean water.

My wife and I recently spent 14 nights here and absolutely loved every minute of it. From the moment you step in to the resort you know that the holiday is going to be special. The entrance is opulent and you are greeted by warm smiling faces. One senses a genuine care from each staff member each and every time you enter or leave the resort. We booked the standard room however upgraded to the premier suite. Check in was a dream thanks to “Andi” (great staff member and should be commended as he went above and beyond throughout our stay). We went from reception to our room, changed and then relaxing by the pool with cocktail in hand in no time at all. The room was beautiful with the largest most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. The mattresses, pillows and linen were heavenly! Huge bathroom with two ceiling mounted shower heads. The balcony has a wonderful view across the manicured grounds. The room and surrounds were always quiet. The room service staff must be commended as our room was always left looking immaculate and I must mention the lovely sweets and drinks left in our room every night – we looked forward to the end of the day returning to the room and finding these little treats. We ate twice at the Kunyit restaurant as the food here is some of the best you will find in Bali. With the hotel located on the beach it was great at the end of the day to sit in a large comfy chair drinking a cocktail whilst watching the sun set, what a great way to end the day. Breakfast here is amazing with just about anything you can think of available. We always sat outside overlooking the beach with a freshly made coffee (thank you to Eric “Robert” who brought us our hot cappuccino every morning, always smiling always helpful) and to Sandy who made every morning special. I must say that this resorts is amazing, from the building to the pools, the breakfast and the restaurants however it’s the staff at the Anvaya that make this place so amazing and make you want to come back and tell all your friends and family members. It’s the staff that leave such lasting wonderful memories of our time in Bali. I must also mention Suwantika. Suwantika made each and every morning special and made us feel like family. He is genuinely a very special person. Also a special mention to Diyan who would have the biggest smile on his face every morning when he saw me approaching his bread station. My toast was always perfect and he made sure I had plenty of vegemite. The days lazing about the pool were magic (did I mention the three amazingly large pools) One can relax and soak up the sunshine whilst reading a book or take up one of the many activates held by Dharma. Dharma made our time around the pool a memorable one looking after my wife and I every day and made us feel really special. My wife especially enjoyed the aqua aerobics and the morning bike rides. Special mention to Andi and Ayin Purwati that went above and beyond every day and surprised me on my birthday by filling our room with birthday balloons and special birthday cake (I’ll never forget that moment of walking in to our room filled with balloons.... thank you so much). The resort management should be commended on having found such outstanding representatives for your gorgeous resort. The staff here care and go above and beyond making sure that every person staying at your resort has an amazing holiday filled with “memory making moments”. Thank you from Chris & Lee Kepas for such a wonderful holiday. o Read less
