Segara Village Hotel is at the northern end of the beach in Sanur. It has beach front access with sun lounges available for hotel guests. The resort has two pools, and a swim up spa available for all guests. Happy hour at the swim up spa, Jacuzzi Bar, is from midday to 3pm, serving a limited menu of cocktails. The resort also has a third pool situated in the Village 2 area available for club guests only. Breakfast is served daily at Le Pirate Restaurant from 7am to 10.30am, with a wide range of foods available. It provides a hot buffet with bacon, eggs, sausages, pancakes, waffles, and toast, fresh fruit, a variety of danishes, tea, coffee and juice. You will not walk away from the restaurant hungry. The resort has a children's playground area, tennis courts, leisure club and library. The room was very clean, and the staff very attentive to our needs. We had a turn down service daily at 6pm with chocolates delivered. The chocolates were very yummy. The resort has a Spa on the premises and although the treatments are a little more expensive than what you find along the beach front, The Spa at Segara is well worth a visit. During my visit I had aggravated a previous shoulder injury and after seeing a number of different salons the staff at The Spa at Segara were the only ones who eased my pain. I had a 30 minute head, neck and back massage and despite the cost being 100k more than other salons I highly recommend The Spa at Segara for a great massage. The only other thing I can say is Segara Village Hotel is surrounded by local eateries, shops and taxi services. If you leave the resort be prepared to get harassed by the local Balinese people wanting your money. We were followed, grabbed and at one point accosted as we left a dress shop by another shop keeper demanding we spend money in her shop. She was quite aggressive in her tone and refused to take no for an answer. The food at the local eateries is wonderful and very tasty, be sure to experience the local Balinese cuisine. We had a wonderful stay at Segara Village Hotel and I'm sure you will to. Read less

We stayed at room 440 and this was our first time in Bali! Chosen for our honeymoon. Our first thought was “WOW!” We definitely thought we were in paradise. The grand entrance definitely sets the mood and as you walk in to the rest of the village, you’ll definitely find yourself lost in translation. We arrived at roughly 3am and what a smooth check in with clear information provided. Staff were very friendly and definitely accommodating. They cater to what you need with the biggest smile you could ever see. We then met Paul from the tour desk who showed us around Bali with ease and clear explanation of what we were seeing, drinking, eating and visiting. He is the friendliest person we’ve come across. He truly is a man of his words. Breakfast buffet was always good with a massive variety catering from local dishes to westernise dishes. The sushi restaurant was good especially their donburi and tuna steak (better than the one at the byrd beach club - although they all are from the same company I think). I enjoyed the spicy chicken burger from the byrd beach club but wasn’t the same taste the second time we tried it. It’s a hit and miss. But overall we have had an amazing time T Bali and will surely return to Segara Village. Highly recommended 👍🏼 Read less

Very friendly staff and at this time of the year, not so much people. The beach is clean, the ocean wonderful! The Yoga great in the Hotel! In a kupple of minutes, you can reach the center of Sanur or a lot of beach bars with life music. Read less

We had a seamless check in and took in the vastness and beauty of the lush green grounds as we were escorted to our room. There were ducks on the grounds, geckos, two birds with big bodies and tiny heads(not sure of what they were but so lovely) We stayed at Segara Village in a bungalow to begin with until we were upgraded to Segara Village 2 which has its own pool where children under 12 are not allowed. We had a beautiful water feature behind our room which was very relaxing and comforting. The photos below of the rooms will be of both of them so will stipulate which is which. The breakfast at Segara was extensive with an egg station and a pancake and waffle station. The food was varied and very nice. We tried the Spa on the premises and the massages we received were very nice but they did not have a shower where you could wash off excess oil. Our bed was very comfortable and I guess the issue we had was with a fellow resident that returned from drinking himself silly and tried letting himself into our room in the early hours. After a confrontation, I reported the man to management and they acted swiftly to have him removed. Kudos to the security staff that escorted this fellow to an awaiting vehicle and off to the airport. Our room was massive and the air conditioner was quiet and comfortable. The Segara backs onto the beach and many cafes, bars and restaurants are easily accessible by a short walk. At the entrance of the property via the road, there are many taxis just waiting to take you where you need to go. I want to say a massive thank you to Agung the duty manager for all of his care and attention during our stay. I was truly pleased and impressed with everything. I highly recommend the Segara Village to all those that might be unsure as to where to stay as the staff at the Segara have set the bar very high. Read less
