I experience also laugh yoga in Balai Bengong that really interesting, i hope all yoga exercise is located in here, LOL. The food, i would say that i really love nasi goreng ayam which is the most tasty and authentic in Alila Ubud. The view on the breakfast facing the pool is magnificent, than to ibu Marianti to host us. Also we can see the inside of water bottling that they used, that time, Mr.JP who is the one who explain me and my friend. If you want to have more bonding with nature, stay in this one in Ubud, One suggestion is sometimes guest did not want the curtain to be opened after cleaning by HK, might be some privacy things inside. Me and my wife stayed at Alila Ubud last Summer around July. And just want to make sure nothing can go wrong, I went to their website to book directly from the hotel instead of any 3rd party agents. The room type that we booked was the Valley Villa, which they have 3-4 units of those on the resort. Me and my wife stay on the Lembongan Island for the first 2 days, then we head to Ubud on the 3rd day of our trip. Everything went smoothly including picking up from the pier returning from Lembongan Island, but the nightmare started when we checked-in our room. We went through the check-in procedure and a staff came to bring us to our room. At first, I didn't notice anything, but just feeling strange that the room looks kind of different from what I booked, and then my wife just point out that, the room is actually not the one that we booked! So we return to the front desk and try to figure out what went wrong, and their GM Mr. J.P. Alfonso came and try to sort it out for us. After waiting for a while, Mr. Alfonso told me that due to the fact that they recently switch to a new booking system, and somehow the Valley Villa are fully occupied. At that point, I almost snap and yell at them, but I understand they want no part of this to happened. Mr. Alfonso told us to wait and try to sort it out, but we were just disappointed that after we went all the trouble to book directly with the hotel, and they tried to snug us into another room type without even notify us! Me and my wife planned a while for this trip and we held a high expectation to this hotel. But after travelling in the morning and afternoon, we were exhausted and frustrated at the situation and start to look for the hotel that are close by for making a booking. So after a long wait, I'd say about 2 hours after we arrive at the site, Mr. Alfonso came and told us that he managed to ask one of their long stay guest to move to another room!!! At the point I couldn't believe my ears and literally went from hell to heaven. Waiting time was long, but problem solved! So we ended up staying in the Valley Villa, and happily stayed 2 nights there. Though the experience was unpleasant during check-in, but Mr. J.P. Alfonso worked his hardest to deal with all parties involved, and let us stay at the room that we desired. In the end, I'm super grateful for things to work out and had a pleasant stay at Alila Ubud, especially to their GM Mr. Juan Paolo Alfonso!! Word can't express my appreciation! Read less

This hotel is set in an idyllic location, perfect for those wishing to get away from it all. We woke up every morning to the most beautiful view of the valley. There are monkeys, but whilst we were there they only visited in the early morning and evening and did not make a nuisance of themselves. The swimming pool is fabulous, don't miss out on an early morning dip. The staff could not have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Please be aware that there are a lot of steep steps down to the pool and breakfast area. That aside would highly recommend. Read less
