We visited the Alila Ubud at the beginning of May and stayed for three nights. The location and surroundings were just so nice, we never left the hotel, other than to walk just outside the hotel gates to have a look at the paddy fields. Each day just before three o'clock (tea and cake time) the monkeys arrived, occasionally making a cheeky run for the nearest table and pinching someone's cake from their plate. Even when they were chased away by security or the pool boys they soon returned. It was lovely to see them in their natural surroundings. We found the room and other areas of the hotel to be clean, food was good and the staff friendly and couldn't do enough for you. This is a great hotel in a lovely location, with a stunning infinity pool. Would definitely recommend and would return if we are ever in Ubud again. Read less

Perfect if you like to be amongst nature. The hotel is lovely and all staff are warm, welcoming and look after you. J.P. Has a lovely team! The two of us are on honeymoon and we feel really taken care of. Make use of the excursions as they’re great value for money.

We visited Alila Ubud in May 2019. With an anuassuming entrance, the property is beautifully set in deep into the forest. Our treehouse style suite was truly spectacular with views of the lush green forest from every aspect of the room and bathroom. The room also had a beautiful terrace overlooking the forest perfect for ab evening drink. The pool at this property is a true standout element - expanding into the forest, the infinity style pool is breathtaking. The stark contrast of the blue water against the lush green forest are what postcard visuals are made of. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of healthy and local food options. Staff and hospitality in general was 5 star and excellent all around. Overall, I would highly recommend this property and would definitely return soon! Read less
