The room was huge and we had two balconies which was really nice even though we didn’t use them that much. We ate at the restaurant on our first night and the food was really good and tasty. The pools are very good to relax around and the sounds of the river and the spa pool is really nice. The pools are a little cold but it’s worth getting in to see the views of the jungle and getting that Instagram snap! We did a cooking class at the hotel one morning which was fantastic and one of the most enjoyable things we did in Ubud. We also had a massage at the spa which was heavenly. The hotel staff couldn’t do enough for us and made us feel very very welcome. I would definitely return to this hotel and Ubud as the place is fantastic. Read less

Our room was fabulous, with a small private pool and garden area. WiFi was good throughout the resort. The food was excellent with lots of choice. There were lots of activities arranged by the hotel including BBQ and fire dancing nights, early morning yoga etc. Very handy shuttle bus running too and from Ubud throughout the day. Happy hour cocktails were also a highlight! Read less

Simply beautiful setting, amazing staff: really friendly, welcoming and excellent English skills. All staff from the reception to the gardeners would smile, say hello and ask how we were every time. The gardens are amazing and the views are are incredible. On top of that it was a true 5 star service.

The best thing about the hotel, though, is it’s setting. It is surrounded by jungle and the design is incredible, especially the two infinity pools. The hotel is a short drive from Ubud, and there is a really handy free shuttle bus which can take you back and forth. We only ate in the hotel once. The food was great (but you can get cheaper Indonesian food in Ubud if you’re on a budget...). We hope to return one day. Read less
