Staff working in the lounge were fabulous and the service was spot on. Lovely to enjoy breakfast away from the crowds along with the all day snacks. From 5pm to 7pm they also offer a free bar service ranging from beers, wines, spirts and cocktails. Well worth it. The only downside to our stay was the Pelangi Spa. We planned to spend half a day having a variety of massages and treatments totally about $1000. The young lady working on the reception area told us that the Spa only has one therapist working and they couldn’t accommodate any of our booking requests and times. We asked to see the manager but of course she was busy in a briefing!! Are well their loss. Happy to go somewhere else and spend our money. Other then this disappoint the hotel has two great swimming pools. The food is delicious and tasty. The staff around the resort are polite and respectful except the Pelangi Spa. Read less

Even better that we had a complimentary room upgrade from lake view to pool view, which was ideal with a toddler when you wanted to pop back to the room for anything. The hotel and its grounds are so beautiful and clean and each member of staff made an extra effort to make our short stay so lovely, I just wish we could have stayed longer!! We had room service a couple of times for our daughter and the food was absolutely delicious and not at all over priced like some hotels. We didn’t spend much time on the beach other than at night watching the entertainment outside of the resort. The Pantai Cenang area is perfect, lots of restaurants and cheap shopping. (Plenty of duty free). Take the walk along the beach straight out of the end of resort, day or night you won’t be disappointed ! We also visited the aquarium (15min walk)and the skycab (30mins away in grab) which I really recommend doing both! The only disappointment was that the kids pool/splash park was closed for an emergency and I believe will be for the duration of November. We have travelled a lot but absolutely loved Langkawi!
