Excellent hotel with great facilities. The staff were excellent and welcoming to all. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The housekeeping was excellent. There were various restaurants in the hotel all with great menus and such variety of choice. I would have to say one of the best hotels I have stayed in.

Couldn’t fault it. Great facilities. The sunset on the beach was something else too. Bob from Borneo Dream, through Activities Abroad sorted our activities. About an hour from Kota where we did scuba diving, snorkelling, and half hour in other direction to do river white water rafting and jungle walk. Would return in a heart beat. Read less

The staff were as good as I have encountered anywhere in the world. Nothing was too much trouble and you were always greeted with a big smile. Many restaurant options, and plenty of places to relax. We are already planning another trip.

We booked a trip through Trailfinderswho done us proud everything went very smooth. They booked us into the Rasa Ria at the end of our adventure for a weeks Beech and pool time. We had an ocean wing room which was fantastic. A huge bed and living area, very good TV channels if you have time. Bathroom was luxurious with his and her sinks. Balcony was large with a day bed, table and chairs and a double bath. There was also a mosquito repellent gadget which we lit most evenings and done the job. A nice touch is the mini bar which is replenished daily 2 beers cokes and lemonade, bottles of water are provided in the room plus fresh fruit. The pool area is very nice, which is next to a huge beech. The reception area is very nice and the staff are always on hand to help, they are all extremely helpful. A call out to Sopry who was amazing. Breakfast was included in the Oceania restaurant and had everything you could ever want, As for lunch we ate by the pool some days which was quite reasonable. Other days we want to the Coffee shop which had sandwiches and cakes and is a nice escape from the heat. Evenings we ate in the Italian Oceania which was our favourite. The fresh fish was huge and not to pricy, there was an offer for a T Bone steak which was approx £20 bargain. However the cheapest bottle of wine was £38. We tried the Japanese which did not live up to our expectations as there was not really any show cooking, the food was good. The manager did make it up to us which was very good customer service. We tried the Malaysian restaurant which is outdoors, we didn't go on the street food night so just had items of the menu and it was very nice. The only other restaurant we tried was the Coffee Terrace where we had the sea food buffet which was fantastic , go hungry. All in all we had a brilliant week. My only complaint is the price of alchahol. A pint of beer is £9 a small beer is £6, cheapest bottle of wine £38 ish. A small single shot of spirit is £7-8 . I had read this so I got our driver to stop at a supermarket to buy some balcony beers. I would recommend taking a bottle of spirit, buy at duty free when you land at KL or Singapore as not available on internal flights and not available in supermarkets not that I could find. I do not pay these prices in London so they need looking at. Read less
