We stayed here between the 23 and the 29th of August 2019 having booked Langkawi as part of a 50th birthday trip through Malaysia. We booked a pool side room on the lower level, or so we thought!! When we arrived we were shown to a poolside 'terrace' room which was basically a balcony room on the second level over the pool. We booked a lower level room as the website shows because my partner had a sore leg and getting in and out of the pool would be easier from the photos. We advised customer service immediately however due to high occupancy rates there was little they could do. That is until on day three we approached the customer service desk and asked for the Customer Service Manager. We spoke to Rosnani (Suzi) who checked my birth date and identified it was my 50th. From this point further the customer service was beyond reproach. We had rose petals on our doona, a cake platter sent to our room and general VIP treatment including an upgrade to an ocean view room on the lower level. We cant thank Rosnani enough for making the stay during my 50th, a next level stay. Thanks Rosnani. Read less

Nice hotel. Massive problem - Kids pool area so dangerous. Replacement mats have been put down which are dangerously slippy. Holes in the floor and the corners of he mats are all upturned also from sun damage. My kids were falling over every day and the area is really falling apart. Concrete is pretruding where the soft kid friendly material once was. Kids swimming costumes are ruined from the black residue that was coming off ground area and also staining their hands and feet. Place needs some much needed TLC. Manager offered to pay for my GRAB to the airport after complaining. What a joke. Will not return until place is refurbished. Read less
