The room /resort itself is quite aged so don't expect anything spanking new but it's clean and the beds are comfortable. Our room has a bathtub but we couldn't use it as the water pressure for the tub was so slow. Breakfast was served set style and it was the same things everyday. We also had dinner at Cba on our last night there and my family found it quite simple and yet satisfying. I stayed here mainly because of the MCO-recovery prices , otherwise I would stay elsewhere on Cenang during normal times . Read less

Stayed here with family during Covid-19 business recovery mode. It was fantastic place with excellent offer and value for money, the swimming pool was not open during my stay but rest was good. It is value for money and strong recommended place. It seems a typical Malay food but drink was great with drink.

Promotion price for Malaysian residents was very nice, so I booked. Pool closed, no problem as I came for the sea. The resort layout is very nice with lots of greenery and nice rooms. Shower floor was cheap stone and felt very dirty. Definitely not right for this kind of resort. Erratic front desk staff, not able to check in 3 rooms at once with 5 staff. First night was horrible, had to change rooms due to uncivilized people shouting, screaming non-stop after midnight in room below. Called front desk twice, they sent security twice, but nothing improved. Day after I met duty manager Rosnah. She was an absolute disgrace and should not have this function in a 4/5 star hotel, probably not in any hotel. She actually defended the behavior of the rowdy people by, and I quote: "they have a holiday". What do you think I am doing here? Did get another room which meant I had to do packing and unpacking again. No apologies or understanding from her or any hotel staff. Breakfast was absolutely unacceptable for even a 2 star hotel: old bread (croissants were at least 24 hours old), coffee undrinkable and all food I consumed was bland or even inedible. Combine this with being served wrong dishes once or twice every day, and I think it's right to say this is unacceptable. Note: no buffet due to covid, only a la carte with very limited options. Food at Cba beach bar/restaurant was average at best. Only beer is a good deal. With the current price it's just passable, but if this promotion aimed to generate interest for booking later on with prices 8-10 fold (no typo), it has absolutely failed. Read less
