In fact there were not enough tables to cater to the restaurant's guests and there was a long queue in the peak hour of 9 plus. (Go down before 9 if you want to get a seat on a weekend). The variety was so-so but the quality was lacking, prata with no curry, nasi lemak, beehoon, some bacon, baked beans and scrambled eggs, basic salad and cheese, basic bread and cakes, some fruits and cereals. Only the porridge offered the most condiments variety and tasted good. The egg station was repeatedly down. And the TV connection was down 50% of the time! The plus side are: Location, next to Kidzania and near Imbiah station and Palawan Beach. Free mini cornetto to treat guests at the concierge in the afternoon. Pools were enjoyable for the kids with free floats. Housekeeping was very prompt to our requests. Filtered tap water provided to minimise plastic waste. The toilet bowl was the high tech ones so the seats were kept warm at all times. Given that it wants to market itself as a kids friendly hotel, it could do better with a kids indoor play area, as well as kids bathroom slippers. The hotel room floor is wooden tile so it was cold for the feet, and the poor children ain't got no slippers to keep their feet warm. Read less

I will like to given my feedback on the ratber disappointing 2D1N staycation experience my family and I had. 1. I will like to given my feedback on the ratber disappointing 2D1N staycation experience my family and I had. 1. Our room was on the 3rd level (pool/ground level) and our window view was of the plant ledge and sea. While resting in our room on 18 May afternoon, was surprised that 2 Indian men (seemingly workers) walked past our room windows across the plant ledge. Felt that our privacy was intruded, and we could have possibly been changing clothes and they could have looked in. 2. Room TV brightness is not adjustable by the remote control. Image is too dim for us, even with windows closed. Called the operator who said the technician will come to assist, but didn't show up. 3. The aircon was too cold (esp due to the rainy weather) perpetually at 22 degrees, even if we adjust it higher, it would not change to the selected temp. The only way was to switch it off. Disappointing Breakfast experience at Native Kitchen on 19 May (Sun) 4. Went down for the only place for hotel breakfast around 9am, and met with a long queue (expected to queue for > 10mins). As we did not have breakfast included in our package, the staff said it would cost $30/adult. We paid for it and was able to skip the queue. However, was told it would only cost $25/adult if we booked breakfast via the hotel reception. 5. Breakfast area was crowded, we were given a round table for 3 of us. Was then asked to share the table with other guests (which is fine but could have told us earlier vs only after we have settled down) 6. Variety of buffet food is one of the least attractive ones i have seen. Main Staples (eg. Bee hoon, scrambled eggs) were quickly finished but replenishing was not done promptly. After going back thrice to check, the bee hoon was still empty, and i had to inform the kitchen staff to replenish, only then was it done. 7. However, the replenished bee hoon looked different from the previous batch. The previous batch was darker in colour with ingredients, but the new batch came plain and lightly coloured. I took a mouthful and it tasted undercooked and was semi-hard. Was it done by a different cook? Seemed like there is no standards on the food. 8. Poor service staff: i was holding a kid on one hand and a full plate in the other, I have accidentally dropped a butter and a jam sachet onto the floor. A young female waiter staff was next to me packing cutleries and i asked her help to pick it up for me. She threw the 2 sachets on top of my plate of clean food! How rude was that? And obviously my food might be dirtied. Unfortunately, the above has made my staycation at Village a disappointing one. Since its currently the soft launch period, i hope the management will look into my mentioned areas to improve the experience for future guests. Read less

We loved this hotel on sentosa. The pools are amazing and very family friendly. Staff were helpful and polite. We found the location to be spot on too. We booked a family room (and provided 2 interconnecting rooms). The staff were friendly, and the hotel clean. The location we found good in Sentosa. The bed was a little hard. The rooms are small/compact - but we're fine with that. We were staying in the hotel to break up longhaul flights, and wanted R&R. The average ranking was mainly due to the fact that the pools looked great online and so had been a draw card for booking but with kids - they are actually very limited. The lazy river is so lazy that you need to push yourself along. The small pool with slides would be perfect for toddlers, but as our kids were 7-10, it was just too small. And the main pool is very shallow throughout - so not great for having too much fun. There were very limited sitting/lounging areas. There was only 1 dining option and 'take away' area. The dining option (Native Kitchen) was pleasant but the wait on the food + drinks was lengthy. The food was overpriced + limited menu. The take away option, we purchased sandwiches - but there was wrapping within the sandwich and so my daughter gagged on the wrapping and had to spit it out. The staff member was pleasant and addressed it after she sort advice and then exceeded my expectation by comping the meal - but on check out at reception, this hadn't been done and the full price for the meals were there on the guest folio. Especially thanks Jovin and Moses(employees of this hotel). You guys make me feel so happy.🥰 처음하는 싱가폴 여행인데 덕분에 좋은 기억 많이 남기고 가요.
