Their attentiveness towards every guest is something adorable. My family was very lucky to have one of their best staff attending to us and he was none other than Sanjiv. His service was at another level and and very informative. Sanjiv went an extra mile to walk over to my elderly parents and gave them a hug and they were very touched with his gesture. We have never seen such a gesture from many places we went for vacation and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who loves a sincere human touch which comes from heart. We thank the village hotel and Sanjiv for being kind and anticipative towards my family. God's kind creation, Sanjiv!!! Many love for you dear. Read less

As an apology, the hotel therefore upgraded us to seaview room. In room facilities are very basic (dont even have tea bag/ forks/ knifes/ plates etc). Also, the toto washlet not working. The best of this hotel is the swimming pool. My kid is 18m and he enjoys the baby pool a lot. I have extended my booking with a separate travel agent and the hotel mistakenly cancel my card access on the 3rd day. In short, hardware are quite ok. Yet, still a lot to improve in other areas to improve. Read less

This a clean hotel in a great location. The check in staff were super friendly. I had read reviews prior to staying so knew the room were small but they are more like pods than rooms, only room for a bed and that is it. Nowhere to sit except on the bed. No room for two full sized suitcases, fortunately we had one full sized and one overnight in each room but even then it is tight. With glass doors for shower and toilet it offers little privacy for teen siblings sharing the family room. The single beds for children are right next to each other with no gap between at all! Cramped rather than cosy as other reviewers have stated and the beds are like rocks! Definitely suggest asking for an additional duvet, one to sleep on top off and the other to sleep under. Also BYO face washer. The hotel doesn’t provide them, nor are there razors in the room. Applause for the environmental side of things. I love the idea of a filter tap instead of water bottles in the room. My daughter and I went to the pool for the late afternoon. Unfortunately only 15 lounges for the entire hotel that would sleep approx 200 guests. She was not permitted in the “adult” pool were there were a few lounges free as not over the age of 16! Back to the cramped room on the bed to read and relax instead of enjoying an afternoon by the pool. The pool is stunning and what you would imagine something environmentally friendly for the future generations but with nowhere to sit it is impossible to use to its full potential. I had read this in other reviews but was hoping after so many criticisms from prior guest that there would have been more Lou he’s and seating purchased by now. Come on, lift your game! Read less

Angela Looi and the team at Village Hotel Sentosa were amazing! We were having a staycation to celebrate Children's Day with two young kids (1 and 4), and Angela was super attentive and friendly, gave great recommendations, opened doors for us, and surprised the kids with personalized bathrobes. Exceptional service, the best we have experienced so far among the hotels in Sentosa. A big thank you and hope to stay with Village Hotel Sentosa again soon. The hotel is truly kids-family. As it was children's day, they had booths set up in the lobby, with cotton candy, popcorn, ice cream, photo booth, etc. Permanently, there's also a simple kids play area, kids pool with 2 slides, breakfast also had kids plates and cutlery.
