First timers in Thailand we chose the Century Park for its location between airport and city centre. Asked for a room on as high a floor as possible and was given a clean spacious suite on the 19th floor with great views of the city. Staff were always helpful and polite. Bar prices are steep. Breakfast was good with a broad selection to cater for many tastes. Our early departure on day two meant we couldn't enjoy the benefit. The taxi dude on the door is however all about the money. You'll always get a better deal in a tuk tuk or metered taxi. All in all not a bad stop. Would use again and save a few BAHT with my new found local taxi wisdom. Give the dude on the door a body swerve. Read less

2 night stay for first time in Bangkok & booked by our travel agent. Hotel is fine, spacious room but a little tired, comfy bed & fantastic power shower. We stayed for 3 nights in September. Check in was fine, they told us they had upgraded us.. dunno if they had but the view from our room was amazing! Room was clean and we were happy with it. Buffet breakfast was good but you had to be down early doors otherwise it was mobbed with people on business stays. When we ate dinner at the hotel in the same restaurant where breakfast is served it was good too. The pool was nice, shallow but could be cleaner. The staff were nice and the food at the pool was lovely! I had read reviews before going and downloaded the GRAB app to get taxis around the city. The hotel door staff took the huff when we said we had taxis booked but we shrugged them off as we weren’t for getting scammed. I would stay again as it was a good hotel it just wasn’t near any of the main sights. Taxis on gran app were fine though even if we sat in traffic for over an hour at times the taxi would only be about £5 Read less

I stayed here with my husband and 12 year old, october '19. When checking in we were told that there was only one bed in our room and that the 3 of us were expected to sleep in it as I hadn't requested an extra bed! As you can imagine I found this quite unbelievable. For an extra bed we were asked for an extra 1200tb (£35) per night! As we booked through a reputable travel agent I question this. I turned to my husband and said I'd be ringing the travel agent. Then they agreed to put another bed on the room free of charge. Was this a scam to get more money out of us?? We may never know. When venturing out for the first time we asked the front desk to call is a taxi, when we got outside one of the door people / bell boy said it would cost 500tb to get to were we wanted to be he insisted I paid him there and then. He then disappeared (to get his own car) came back and underhand idly gave 100tb to each of his colleagues and drove us to our destination. On the way back the journey in a metered taxi was only 160tb. Always ask for a metered taxi not a hotel taxi! I feel like since the moment we arrived they just wanted our money. However, the hotel was clean and adequate for our 3 night stay. I'd think twice before staying here again. Read less

Good clean friendly hotel, service very good, nothing too much for them. Great views from our room, 18th floor, traffic noise was very minimal considering location near main roads. Concierge staff very polite and helpful.
