Looks the part but terrible service from when I first visited all the way til I left, reception doesn’t understand English and made us wait 20 minutes for our bags even though we told them 1 hour in advance that we would be leaving and told us that we didn’t inform them. This hotel looks good but look a bit harder and you can see that the fixtures and fitting are getting pretty old and battered. However, that's about it for the negative points, except the wifi needs to be better with a speed of 2MB which is way off the pace these days and a lift system which can have you waiting for 10 minutes to get on one,… Read more
This hotel looks good but look a bit harder and you can see that the fixtures and fitting are getting pretty old and battered. However, that's about it for the negative points, except the wifi needs to be better with a speed of 2MB which is way off the pace these days and a lift system which can have you waiting for 10 minutes to get on one, including the "express lift". The staff are friendly and efficient, the rooms a decent size, the bathrooms good though I always like a real bar of soap instead of just 1 small container of shower gel and another of shampoo. It has all sorts of bars, restaurants, massage place, and an impressively large swimming pool and fitness centre. I would certainly stay there again. Read less

This is a huge hotel! A little dated, but still very comfortable. The staff were lovely and the location is just perfect. Steps away from the night bazaar, which is another of Thailand's fabulous markets.

Below expectations this hotel. Old Chinese style fashion hotel. Crowded breakfast and not a big variety on the Continental breakfast food. Had an electrical plug in the wall just in the middle of my bed, so considered this dangerous. In Chiang Mai, would definitely choose another hotel.

Hotel is just off the main night market street with lots of restaurants, massage and shops. For the location, it is a good deal compared to the 2 other hotels next door which costs much more. The hotel is decent, rooms are clean and facilities are quite good. Down side - mattress was quite hard and pillow was lumpy. Aircon was noisy but not loud enough to cut off the sound from the next door connecting room. They should really improve the acoustics at the connecting doors as I could hear the guests talking, playing music or throwing up during my 5 night stay. The elevators are really slow even though there were 4. Common to have to wait 5 minutes before you can get into a lift especially if staying at lower floors. Breakfast can get very crowded but selection is adequate and has a variety of cuisine. Concierge and Bell boys can be more friendly. Had to beam a wide smile to the lady at the concierge a few times before she finally responded with a smile. Read less
