The food spread at breakfast is amazing and I wasn't bored of the food even after eating 4 straight mornings there. The toilet is very big and I like the terrace of the room as well. The food at the thai restaurant is delicious.

I am feeling that my review will only repeat all the excellent reviews on here about the wonderful JW Marriott , so in fear of respecting so many things I hope to leave a few helpful hints . We are still here in the Marriott at the last leg of our wonderful holiday as said the hotel and its location are 5 ******* + we have been lucky enough to holiday at some fine hotels in our time but this one truly tops the bill in every single way . The beach that the hotel fronts is truly beautiful and by all accounts is much better than others in say Puket that are stoney , deep , and seaweed driven , here the beach is a complete sand bottom ( so don’t spend money on wet shoes as you will not need them ) no seaweed and the sea moves out at a gradual level , and as the hotel is away from many it is so very quiet , we have spent many a sunset being the only people left in the sea, the members of staff bringing iced water to the sun beds is a refreshing pleasure every day . Yes the restaurants on site are on pare with English prices but they are quite special and you do have a choice if you want cheaper options to use the restaurants on the beach next to the hotel or the restaurants just outside the resort highly recommend Pams and Bluemist but you need to book through the hotel as they get booked up , JW go out of there way to help you book the restaurants outside the hotel making reservations for you and arranging the FREE taxi collection and drop off, there are not many hotels that will do that as they see it as competition ! The staff work tirelessly to make your holiday go as well and relaxed as it can do nothing is any trouble at all . We had a slight issue that was out of the hotels control two nights ago and both the food Manger and the hotel Manager made it there time to come and see us address the situation which I can honestly say put faith back in human nature both Managers deserve there title thank you so much for all you did , you can also see they are good at there role in seeing how much fun and happy the staff are in there work which is so very nice to see 😊 , we have a rule of not staying at the same hotel twice but on this occasion the rule will be broken . The hotel is currently refurbishing all the rooms but to be honest ours was not one that had been done as yet but we could not find fault room is large , clean , fully furnished , fantastic air conditioning, full bathroom , free safe ( which you will be hard pushed to find even on all inclusive these days ) very large comfortable beds and staff that make the room shine every day , we used the credit system in place for the food and beverages on site which is well worth it , if you buy 20,000 baht you get 8,000 baht free so and so on we went for the 20,000 with the 8,000 free giving us 3 free meals at the hotel . There is so much more to write about that is all excellent about the hotel but it is now time to have a shower and get ready for the beach bbq that the hotel are putting on tonight , thanks JW Marriott for our on going Fantastic holiday please book this hotel you will not be disappointed you have my word Read less

My wife and I had a wonderful two weeks at this lovely hotel in early April. On arrival, we were delighted to receive an upgrade to a pool access room which was great for a dip after a few hours at the beach to cool off: you can swim or paddle through miles here, it’s huge and peaceful. The gardens are amazing and immaculately maintained. We liked our room, it was spacious, comfortable, clean and quiet, though some areas needed minor refurbishment. Undoubtedly, the staff here are a major strength. They are polite, professional and respectful. They lift the spirit with their greetings and genuine pleasure at having you here. If you have a problem, I feel sure they would help you sort it out, if possible. Another strength, the great location. We breakfasted outside every morning, overlooking the bar and beach area, they went to find sun beds and lay on the beach before going for a morning stroll before having a swim. Be careful of the sea. On the rougher days, the waves seemed to rear-up at times, to give a pounding and, if you lose your footing, a fair old tumble. It is beautiful and you can walk for as long as you have the energy and see all the wildlife. The food is a pleasure. We particularly enjoyed the breakfasts, with great choice. Every day, after a delicious evening cocktail in the hotel bar, we faced a decision: where to eat? In the hotel, from its variety of restaurants, or outside at a nearby beach restaurant or one in land? We mixed it up and almost everywhere was an experience and a delight. We recommend the hotel and location, one of our best holidays to date! John and Jane Read less

We came to Thailand to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. After spending a few days in Bangkok we came to JW Marriott in Khao Lak. We were greeted with smiles and a refreshing drink. The smiles from the staff have continued for the whole of our stay. The location is beautiful and the grounds are well kept. It's easy to venture off the resort with a taxi rank, just outside and there are bars, restaurants and Thai massages available along the beach. Nothing more relaxing than laid by the beach having a massage. To add to our stay we arranged to renew our wedding vows at the JW, wow, Ivana was brilliant there was nothing that was too much. Our day concluded with a private meal on the beach. I won't go into more detail so not to spoil the surprises. The food and drink are of a high standard, and yes you can eat cheaper elsewhere, but I didn't come here to scrimp and save. We did go off to different places to eat of an evening as well as some evenings staying at the resort. Cocktails on the beach in the evening are a must. We are a family of 5, 3 teenage girls and not once did I hear the words I'm bored. Our rooms were swim up rooms in wing 2. They were very clean, had a nice decking area just before you stepped in to the pool. Read less
