We have just had a lovely 7 day stay at this resort. We stayed in a beach bungalow which was very clean and comfortable. The staff were all exceptional and very friendly. Breakfast - a wide choice that suits all. Choice of cold or cooked breakfast. Beach - beautiful beach. Sea tidal so be prepared to have times when the sea is tranquil and beautiful. Other times it is either churned up due to the tidal movements or you will need to walk a fair way to get to swim. Swimming pool- Small but very clean and pleasant. Restaurant - we ate at the restaurant on our last night and the food was spot on. Pad Thai with Shrimp and Sea Bass with vegetables. Mosquitos - yes there are some. The hotel fumigate at regular intervals. We used Deet Woods spray and when we were bitten ( not many times ) - we used red tiger balm and that works a treat ! You are even supplied with an electric racket to kill the mossies Eating out - you are restricted but there are restaurants to walk to - Jasmine , Ma Ma Ping and we also went to La Callette ( pizza / pasta ) on one occasion. All okay. There is a small shop you can buy snacks etc from which is a short walk down the beach. As we stayed for 7 days we received a complimentary massage for one hour. It was fabulous. The cleaners were brilliant and we received little gifts every night. Thank you ! Footwear - you don’t need any ! Tractors - didn’t bother us .... they do transport people to hotels. Visiting parties - yes you do see quite a few visitors to the island. However the hotel are very good at controlling this. Not an issue for us. Trips on offer - we spent a morning on a speedboat, visiting snorkelling. Fabulous trip , swam with baby sharks and turtles. Overall. We loved our stay. If you don’t mind being on an island with limited restaurants on offer etc then we would recommend. If you want loads of choice and to be able to walk to loads of bars and restaurants ... probably not for you. Thank you Zeavola for a week we will never forget Read less

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. Being our honeymoon we decided to splurge a bit and booked the Private Pool Villa and we were not sorry! We had a decent size infinity pool to ourselves above the trees with a straight view out to the ocean, a living room and 2 lounge chairs on that level, and then a bedroom, bathroom and outdoor space another flight up with full length windows viewing the ocean. We took advantage of the view by waking up early and watching sunrise from our bed! I really have nothing bad to say about the accommodations. The pillows were great, the bed a bit stiff. There were a lot of steps up to the room, but worth it for the view and privacy. Not sure I would have loved it here as much with a room lower down on the property, as there is much less privacy, but since I didn’t stay in those rooms, I don’t know. The sun gets really hot there, and low tide was in the afternoon, so after lunch we went up to the villa and were able to swim and cool off in the private pool while the ocean was fading away beyond the swim area. The service was slightly lacking: I didn’t care much because we mostly kept to ourselves for these peaceful 2 days. But I do think it’s worth mentioning. Although I’m not super young, I look much younger than I am and feel that I was treated by the staff with a lower level of service than other guests around me. I do not know if it was due to my “age”, but that’s the only thing I can guess. When lounging on the beach, everyone around me was offered menus for food and drink as it got to lunch time and I was the only one not given a menu, he walked right by giving before and after. We went to the restaurant in hopes of having drinks and dessert and the staff first told us they couldn’t seat us, then came chasing after us stating that someone didn’t show up and we could take their table. The watermelon gin fizz and mango sorbet were both amazing. My husband ordered a mojito and they must have used a wrong ingredient, because it did not taste right; they did happily replace it with another drink of his choice. On our last night, they called to tell us our departure plans and stated that we could leave our bags in the living room to be picked up at 12:30. But then, the next day at 11:55 we were called to ask if we were ready to leave, I responded that we needed 10-15 minutes and would be ready. At 12:03 we were called again by someone else asking why we were still in the room and could we please have our bags picked up and mini bar emptied. After telling the room manager of this happening they were apologetic and recognized their lack of communication among each other. I recognize that they were at full capacity and were just trying to turn over the rooms. Read less

Usually you can see signs of decay, neglect, call it what you will but I was hard pressed to find much and not enough to bother mentioning. The staff are over the top pleasant. The turn down service is great. Any request is met swiftly. Just really super people and a great setting. If you are looking for crazy nightlife look elsewhere. If you are looking for an escape and attentive service then welcome to Zeavola. Please check out the spa. Wow those ladies are amazing. If I had one ask I wish they had a true bar to sit at, I missed that. That would be my only suggestion. Read less

I honestly don’t know where to start! This stay was supposed to be 4 nights, however due to a mechanical plane issue we left the USA a day later than scheduled. We flew from the East Coast of the US through Seoul South Korea before flying to Phuket. Due to the midnight arrival we were not able to take the boat until the next day. So we stayed overnight in Phuket and adjusted to local time. We arranged our Phuket hotel pickup directly with Zeavola. The driver took us to the Royal Phuket Marina to ride the Zeavola speedboat to the resort. We were taken to a nearby hotel where public restrooms were available and offered a free soda or juice. While at the marina we were greeted by Zeavola employees who gave us our villa number and a map of the property explaining various aspects of our stay. They boarded the speedboat along with us. We were offered a cold drink while on the speedboat. The ride is ~1.5 hours. When we arrived at Zeavola a tractor came out to get us, much like a hay ride. Drove us up to the beach and we were given a cool towel and a welcome drink. Then we went to reception and an employee walked us to our villa and showed us how to work everything. The bedroom is the only area that has AC. The AC only works when your key is in the slot. A word about the AC. It’s hot here and the AC must be on year round. Our first night the room did not stay cool, we reported it the next day and the fix was perfect. When the AC works it’s great but when it’s slightly off it’s very thick feeling in the room. Our last night our AC again did not work throughout the night, even turning it down as low as it goes. We did not want to open any windows, if that’s even possible to allow critters and mosquitos in. So a word of caution IF you feel your AC is not working report it immediately. A ceiling fan in the room OR a oscillating fan would be a great help. The bathroom is separate from the bedroom which means if you get up in the middle of the night you are unlocking your padlocked door, using the flashlight they provide and going outside. It is hot in the bathroom during the night, again we kept those doors/windows closed to keep bugs out. During the day we opened them. Outside of the bathroom is a wall so no one can see in. There is also an outside shower and a sink. I didn’t think I would feel comfortable using the outside shower but the inside shower was just too hot. My feeling about the outside shower is to put up a barrier behind the shower head platform floor. Why? I brought my own bar of soap and it fell out of my hands and fell off the platform more than once. That meant I had to lay down or kneel on the platform to reach my bar of soap! This way to shower ended up to be my favorite. The food at the restaurant is outstanding. The breakfast you can order eggs freshly cooked and/or go to the buffet where there are numerous Western & Asian items to enjoy. We especially loved the fresh cut fruit and juices. We ate exclusively here and had fish & chips, cheeseburger and split a tuna salad sandwich one day for lunch. For dinner I highly recommend the grilled halibut. It was so good I considered ordering it another night. My husband had the Thai crispy grouper which he said was outstanding as well. That dinner we split the Thai starter which had 2 each of 4 different things. Another night he had pad Thai with shrimp while I had chicken wings and fried spring rolls. Last night we had the Seafood Gram buffet. All sorts of fresh seafood cooked to order and billed by the weight. Also available were lamb chops and 2 kinds of steaks. The buffet salad bar was good and 2 varieties of soup, also good. 2 cold salads and 2 hot sides were also on the buffet. Sadly, however this was our worst meal. I ordered ribeye and grilled shrimp. My ribeye arrived without my shrimp! I completely finished my steak before my shrimp arrived and what was even worse is my husbands ordered grilled red snapper took another 30 minutes to arrive. Both of us ate our dinners alone at the same table. This should NOT have happened. The chef made a mistake on timing for our table, a huge mistake. We felt the food ordered a la carte was better tasting than the buffet last night. Also while eating outside at the beach is nice you cannot read the menu with by candlelight. Those lights to sign the bill should be supplied with the menus. Until that happens you should bring a flashlight or use your cell phone flashlight app, you will need it. Our service at the restaurants was very good. We did not use the pool. The water here is the most beautiful I think we have ever seen. I’ve been lucky to travel the world and this gorgeous warm water is so inviting. We loved sitting on the beach just looking at it. We did go to the dive center and take a speedboat for the Adventure Tour. We snorkeled in 3 areas and stopped in gorgeous other places. This was from ~ 8 am to 12:30 pm. Be aware that the only bathroom is the water! We thoroughly enjoyed the trip and recommend it. Rong was our guide that day and very informative about what we were seeing. The entire staff here is so friendly and warm. Eager to make your stay the best. We did not have an issue with any critters including mosquitos, just did not see them. I’m so happy I was able to come and wish this wasn’t so far from home as it’s true paradise on earth! Read less

The location is out of this world. Sandy beach, great loungers and service to indulge in food and cocktails. Our garden suit was great. A stand alone cottage located in the „jungle“. Plenty of free water supply. Breakfast buffet had a lot to choose from and you were able to choose more from a set menu Once a week the resort has a welcome night, were you get a free bar and starters for 1-2 hours. Amazing selection to choose from beer, wine, cocktails,... Great opportunity to meet staff, management and guests alike. As it was Halloween night, they even organised a vampire costume for my 7y old son. 5 star service. Thanks Florian! There are also plenty of beach restaurants which are run by locals, only 5 min walk away if you wish to be more adventurous. Obviously food and beer are a fraction of resort prices. The next mini mart is 2.5km away in the next village (Loh ba Kao bay), 25min walk. (Google map is your friend) We hired a longtail boat from the locals for 2000 baht and got an allday tour to all the surrounding sights and snorkelling. We would definitely stay here again! Read less
