Centara Villas is a certain destination, when you visit Ko Samui. Super friendly staff, even when you pass them by in their private time at Lamai beach! I WILL recommend your hotel with my friends. This was a memorable stay.

We stayed for 14 days at Centaras Villas and loved every second of it. The combination of personal and friendly staff, great food and overall a beautiful area to live in - makes us want to go again! Highly recommend it both if you want to have a break from traveling around, or just chill out for a longer stay.

The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The place is good for relaxation - comfort and cozy, not noisy. We really appreciated the little things the staffs have done on my husband's birthday - so cute.

We came here for 4 nights and stayed in a Garden Villa We were given room 135 which had no cold water (toilet, sink and shower). We called maintenance and they came and fixed in issue within 30 minutes. On the third day, we came back from our massage to three maintenance men standing outside our room with cladding taken apart and water over the balcony tiles and inside our room. Turns out, the plumbing failed and needed repair. I asked how long it would take and they said 3 hours. All they kept doing was say sorry but that doesn't really compensate the time we paid for the room. We quickly rushed to the lobby as not only was this unacceptable but we also had a wedding to prepare for in 4 hours time. Given the hotel was definitely not at capacity, I don't understand why they gave us a room had clearly had ongoing issues. We were subsequently given room 107 which did not have water problems but power did cut out multiple times the first night in that room which woke us up. The first few meals we spent at the hotel. We found the food either bland or super salty. The food didn't taste authentic and was a let down. The Thai menu isn't very Thai at all... The property boasts 2 "dining" areas but it is essentially one. One is a rotating menu and the other serves the a la carte menu but seating is in the exact same area unless there are special nights where it is held on the beach. I suggest eating at nearby outlets for better flavour and pricing. I found the property steps very irregular and I would imagine this would be a problem to those with mobility issues. There aren't handrails at all steps either so be careful. Definitely not wheelchair friendly at all. Spa services were good. Just DON'T do any nail service as it will not last the moment you walk out of there. Nail varnish colours are so limited to hues or red or pink. Massages were great though and reasonably priced for a hotel. We used much of our baht bonanza money at the spa. Wifi was speedy and available in all areas of the hotel. There are 3 pools to choose from but found a lot of "marked" lounges that weren't being used by anyone every time we walked by. I think many people leave their towels there for the day for when they want to come back. That and the fact that pool attendants don't actually take away towels after 1 hour of non use by guests as per their own policy. The hotel beach isn't exactly swimmer friendly either. Bring swim shoes if you must swim at the hotel "beach". Hotel staff were nice at all times but it's really the maintenance of this hotel that lets it down. Read less

This resort has good facilities, food and beverage and OUTSTANDING staff. However, the amount of steps is a killer for older persons and anyone with mobility issues. Recommended for families and younger couples. Happy hour is a great social event. Watch those steps when retiring!
