Thankyou to all the staff , who were wonderful as always and make our holiday with their smiles , special thanks to Anu , Bonnie ,Tare , Pukki,Noodang ,Bee ( Spicy) and everyone else including Head Chef . The main pool is closed , and yes we weren’t informed either but this wasn’t an issue as we use the beach to annoy the lovely Chai !!! We did find things a tad more expensive than usual due to Baht doing well against the pound ... used the Baht Bonanza once again which eases the strain !!! We will be back again in 2 years if not before Thankyou Paul and your team ...😎See you all again .... Alan and Pauline ... Read less

My partner and I were initially very pleased with this hotel upon arrival; we were impressed by the clean and comfortable rooms and the layout of the hotel, what with each individual couple/family being assigned their own ‘villa’. Although the hotel is far out, we did not find this a problem due to Centara’s provision of shuttle buses to the local towns and also the supermarket. However, we are very disappointed with the service and the prices charged by the hotel. The bar/food service has been very slow during our stay, which is both unfortunate and disappointing given that a huge 17% charge is added to EVERY bill. Service during happy hour was even slower. Food was very overpriced (the buffet in particular) and although we enjoyed it, it was certainly not worth the high price. We dined in JP’s Restaurant, a 2-3 minute walk from the hotel, and our total bill cost half- probably even less- of the price charged by the hotel, and the food here was outstanding and true authentic Thai. We would also recommend Cool Bar for cheaper drinks, which is found along the beach if you turn left. We would have given this hotel a four or five star review, however we have been very let down by the poor bar and restaurant service, especially when considering the outrageously high prices charged. The main pool has also been closed for renovation during the entirety of our stay- this was not a huge problem as there are other pools and a lovely beach, however we certainly would have appreciated some notice about this before we arrived. Final note- there are lots of dogs on the hotel premises, with and without collars, but we found them to be very friendly and no trouble at all! Read less

The hotel grounds, rooms, and buildings were very nice. Beautiful beach. Terrible service and food. Overpriced. Remote location is not ideal for exploring Koh Samui. Would not recommend unless you plan on spending a lot of time away from the hotel and just want a nice place to sleep and a pretty beach to lay on.

Hotel is set in quiet area but has a few restaurants and bars within a short walking distance. There are a lot of steps down to the restaurant, pools and beach but not a problem unless you have difficulty in walking. Rooms are in chalets and are excellent with outside sitting areas. Food is varied and very good. It is hotel prices but you are paying for the setting. If you want a change then the restaurants just down the road are very good value, again with excellent food. An outdoor bar called the Cool Bar is a walk along the beach away for when you need a change from the hotel. However, happy hour deals at the hotel are good value. Overall, we preferred this location to the hustle and bustle of more lively areas of Koh Samui. We did a boat trip to the national park and found it thoroughly enjoyable. Staff very helpful and pleasant, in fact there is very little we could fault with the Centara Read less

aircondition was too loud bed liner was too warm pool areas nice but main pool was closed for work only one toilet area behind the restaurant prices for food/drinks/spa bit to high - happy hour prices would be OK:-)
