Welcome to the hotel was short & sweet with not much info give ( like their private beach with complimentary shuttle to and from ) , as the holiday went on we found most the staff we encountered to be dis interested . The resort & rooms were clean with a short walk down to the main road where you could hire a tuk tuk into Ao Nang for 100thb one way - this rose to 150thb in the early hours . Breakfast had plenty of choice and was ok but gets repetitive after 2 weeks so we ate out a few times . We hired a scooter for the 2 weeks to get out and explore more after visiting Ao Nang on 5 previous times but only for short visits we found this 2 week stay to be way to long as we have now seen most of the tourist and hidden attractions . Would i visit Ao Nang again ? Yes but for only a few days . Would i stay at this hotel again ? Probably not as we hardly used the facilities like the pool much as we were always out plus there was a lot of noise from the upper floors you could hear in the room so sound proofing was an issue Read less

I’m not sure how this hotel only has 3 stars! It’s simply lovely! The breakfast is also lovely (compared to other places we visited in Thailand). Location is excellent! 15 minute walk from the night market that is on EVERY night, and only a 10 minute walk down the the beach. The lady in the lobby that does the trips is also very lovely and always… Read more

The lady in the lobby that does the trips is also very lovely and always gives a massive discount if you book through the hotel! We wish we had stayed here for longer than 3 nights, thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Thai Village. Read less

Just 8 minutes walk from the beach and "town centre", this hotel offers large rooms with terrasses, overlooking the pool areas. Rooms are clean and working, but worn. Pools are great and clean, and the pool bar staff were very entertaining and nice. Nothing is as effective as a Dane is used to, but when they get around to it, they mostly fix what needs fixing. The exception was the gym; it is there, but equipment is lacking and worn down, and one of two air conditions were out of order, so working up a sweat took little effort :-) (if you're a training maniac, there is a commercial gym in walking distance, though). We spend a wonderful week there, so can recommend to families (also a no kids pool area, but the music from the pool bar did not respect that) Read less

Tea and coffee, fresh drinking water (replaced every day), lovely toiletries, toothbrushes, a bag to take pool or beach stuff, I could go on! The location is fabulous, short walk to the main town, which is large and had a huge selection of shops, bars, tour operators again every you could need in one convenient place. The only thing I would say (as others have mentioned) is use the steps to get in and out the pool as there are very very sharp broken tiles on the edges of the pool. Read less
