Sorry for our late review. Our friends had an awesome time at the property. We were totally surprised and mesmerized by the service provided by the staff. Everyone from housekeeping to gardeners always had a smile on their faces. We would specially like to thank Kelly, Zohar, Sunny and everyone else who made our stay special. Keep up the good work

We had a terrific time, the facilities are great and the staff couldn't be more accommodating. Special thanks to Yui from the kids club. My son was so attached to her and she even went to the trouble of sending a little goodbye present back with our friends for him. It was so sweet, he keeps asking to go back and see her :) We really appreciate… Read more

This was our fifth stay at the resort and it did not disappoint. The Phuket Marriott Resort has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. The beach is at your door step, the lagoons and grounds are tropical, the rooms are relaxing and all with a pool view, plus you are out of the hustle of Patong but close enough to catch the complementary shuttle in to town. What topped off our stay are the beautiful people that work at the hotel which made our visit so enjoyable, each day we were greeted with their smiles and genuine friendliness. Kelly at the dinner bookings desk is an asset to the Marriott hotel chain, she has remembered us since our first visit in 2012 when she was working at the buffet. Kelly and Smile go above each day to make your stay comfortable and accommodating from bookings to checking how everything during your stay is going. They are genuinely good people and we look forward to seeing them again at our next visit. The Thai pantry restaurant at the resort is delicious - the best food (Yellow crab curry and Red duck curry is excellent- we ate their about 5 times) Thank you to Chef Orn, Bonus, Boom, Benz and Vicky at the Thai Pantry who are a lovely and dedicated team at the restaurant. The staff at the coffee shop, health bar and pool bar thank you for remembering our orders each day- what a feat after serving hundreds of guests. The staff servicing the rooms each day were attentive and the rooms were always neat and tidy, plus they leave the sweetest gestures (origami animals and flowers) in your room each day which puts a smile on your face- thank you. The grounds at the resort are kept lush and green and is very well maintained, it really is an excellent tropical destination. My husband and I got engaged and had our honeymoon at the Phuket Marriott Resort so it really is a special place to us! Our only gripe is during check in we were kind of left standing at the front counter...after a while Nacho the hotel Manager came by and asked if we were being looked after and took our passports to start the process..once the guest check in staff came there was no smiling face or 'Welcome Back'...it was all very standard. After finishing our trip it did not make a difference as there were excellent staff in every other area and it will not impact us staying again! Read less

Only negative, the hotel is a bit isolated and usually needs a taxi ride to get anywhere. There is an infrequent shuttle bus service. Read less
