There was a tremendous variety of things for breakfast, the Vietnamese omelette being especially good. And you can borrow bicycles to tour the town or pedal to the beaches. Read less

We stayed here three years ago and loved it so decided to include it in our 2020 tour of Vietnam - we were not disappointed. The hotel is in a quiet spot just on the edge of the old town, an easy stroll to the centre. The style is French colonial set in beautifully maintained gardens with spacious, well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean rooms. There is a great pool/pool bar/ sun longer area within easy reach of all rooms or seating with great views of the river. The Riverside restaurant provides a fabulous breakfast and great evening dining. As always the staff make or break a hotel - those at The Anantara are superb without exception. Despite all the anxieties and problems caused by the Covid 19 crisis everyone was cheerful, helpful and wonderfully friendly and would do anything to enhance your stay. We had checked out to fly on elsewhere but had a flight cancelled for 24 hours - we returned to Anantara and within 10 minutes we’re welcomed back into our room and made comfortable- magnificent service. Sad to leave we would stay at this hotel any time we revisit beautiful Hoi An in the future and wish every single member of their excellent team good luck and good health in the current crisis.
